As a flamenco guitarist and aficionado, the first thing that comes to my mind is: CONGRATULATIONS! I am a big Paco de Lucía fan, and actually got to see him performing live twice in my life and I have my guitar autographed by him. I know this piece 'Guajiras de Lucía' quite well (I cannot yet play it like you do) and I can say that is one of the best interpretations that I could find on the web. I bumped into it by chance and is big pleasure to get to know you, Gohar.
And coming from a classical guitarist, merit is double because you really got the 'duende" and you are capable to play the whole piece keeping the tempo even in the fast or 'difficult' parts. Keep on! Wish to see you playing live soon! Cheers from Uruguay.

I love most kinds of guitar music: flamenco, spanish classical, south american, country, bluegrass and popular/old standards. The loss of Sabicas, Chet Atkins, Paco and other greats (RIP) was inevitable, they were only human blessed with great talent and determination. We are lucky to have so many great young and long standing guitar greats to enjoy on You Tube. Gohar is an amazing example of young virtuosity.

Wonderful flamenco, Gohar! RIP Paco, a shame he died as young as he did. I had the fortune of seeing him perform several times in his "youth" in the 70s and 80s.
Yes it is! Way too young. I saw him in April 2001 in NYC and in November 2013 in Buenos Aires. It was incredible

Thank you Mark! it's nice to hear from you! It's a super fun piece to play. I learned it as a teenager but never polished it. Abandoned it for years, occasionally going back to it and abandoning it again. haha... Finally decided to sit down and do the work necessary to make it playable. hahaha
how long does it take to learn this piece on the guitar? months? years?
to be clear how many years of study does it take to learn this piece? maybe at 85 i can do it i'm 63

absolutely brilliant and clear: all the techniques used: piccados of enormous spead and clarity, arpeggios the same. this piece is a horror for memorizing, not to say for playing this. absolutely amazing dead miss - from now on I am your devoted fan and goona watch all of your vids.

Beautiful rendition, you maintain the rythm and tempo even in the more difficult passages, which is not an easy achievement when playing the Guajiras. You have made it shine! Congrats. 👏👏👏
