The fact that Tyler constantly listens to the islands of adventure soundtrack makes me feel so much more nerd-bonded with him. It's kind of like me obsessively watching Pugh Two and RixFlix videos at all times of the year until I come to Universal myself.

John Williams is the GOAT of film composers. All of his theme tunes instantly remind you of the film they are from. Big respect to the legend.

I bought the original CD 25 years ago when It first came out - and I still have it. I used it many times for background music when I did my children's theatre classes. I'm surprised they actually re-released the music for the closed areas.

Something new to listen for on my next trip (Sep 2023), I have never noticed sound tracks while walking in the parks. I just here the people and rides.
Oh my gosh, yes!! We’re super aware of them because we have to worry about copyrighted music when we film, but they’re playing music everywhere! Lol
I was listening to the music yesterday cleaning my kitchen. Now I am packing to walk out the door to go to Universal for a week to celebrate my birthday . ( it falls on Labor Day this year ) .Hoping by going before labor day , it might not be as crowded.

Some of my best childhood memories are in these parks with my family, and I have been listening to the theme park soundtrack on UA-cam for over a decade! Port of entry is also my favorite 🥰 I can smell different parts of the park and rides based on the music ! Memories tied to music are so powerful

I remember Dueling Dragons and rode both Fire and Ice. Since it has been such a long time going to Islands until last year, it's hard for me to remember fully the way the area looked before Harry.
We need to look up some old pictures of the area to compare, that’d be so fun!
Love listening to the music while I’m working 😂 would absolutely LOVE a history video on both parks!!! Showing what old rides were there before and what’s there now 😍

Side note: when my son and I went to universal in July we got caught up in a REALLY bad down pour in the same spot! While eating our tots! I think it’s just that spot 😂 the benches where Tyler was sitting is where we sat and the bench was soaked, and that whole area flooded! We just embraced it and jumped in the puddles, no ponchos, no umbrellas, just full embrace 😂❤ not gonna lie, it was my favorite part of the whole trip!

The weather was sooo nuts that day. It was our last day before heading home to Michigan and we got soaked just trying to get back to the hotel to get our luggage.

Gearing up to spend all of next week at Universal Orlando. Already made my Reservations for Finnegans, Mythos, Cowfish, and Toothsome. I've also been re-watching y'alls earlier videos to help me plan and pack. Thank yall so much for all the helpful content y'all put out. Y'alls videos in general are great but the recommendations and advice for preparing for the parks is most opriciated!! As for naming the baby Niffler, how bought "Bunty" in honor of Newts faithful and indispensable assistant!!

Very fun vid! Y'all are right music is a big part of my life and it really enhances all my experiences.
I try to capture songs from our trips and put playlists together so my wife and I can relive those memories whenever we want.
We do that, too!! Anytime we take a trip, we find newer songs to listen to so we always associate that music with the trip. It makes the memories that much better!
@@ThePughTwo Last years HHN had a ton of rockabilly so I made the list of that playlist and anytime my wife or I want to make the other laugh we just play Psychobilly Freakout, because we heard that a trillion times last year. Plus now Blinding Lights by The Weeknd brings us back to HHN everytime too.

We were at Animal Actors during the downpour. The wind was blowing a mist over the wall into the theater! Still had a GREAT day!

We were on Doom tower, literally buckled in and it started pouring as they shut it down. We didn’t even see anyone, they announced it was down and our seats unbuckled !!
Then had to hide out in the arcade ( dooms chair to be exact ) till it passed.
Still had a fun day playing Villiancon.
Oh , and I maxed out MIB this trip so Good Times.

We are a Disney family and I can definitely relate to the nostalgia of the music as you walk around the park and as you get on the rides. Heading over tomorrow..probably take a year off after that. I thought the Oak Tavern (or whatever) was so cool. We would sit out back (which is still there) all the time. Waiting for Hagrids ride one morning we actually waited in what I think was Sinbads something or other. I was surprised it was still there and looked intact. Always appreciate the entertainment.
Oh yes!! They snake you back by the old sinbad theater when Hagrid’s overflows. We miss that show, too!! We wish they’d use that theater for something, it’s so cool!

I believe we have the original CD soundtrack. It must have been given out in the opening year, because there's no way my parents would have bought it ;) I know my dad still has the opening year magnet on his fridge. I used to randomly listen to the sound track a lot. I'm not sure where it ended up now or I'd definitely send it to you.

@@ThePughTwo I did! And a historical “this used to be this ride” video sounds great too. I went out in 1994/95 so we didn’t have Islands of Adventure! I remember the advert for the JP ride on the tv in the hotel room. Which was so new as a kid from Scotland with a near total lack of theme parks, let alone advertising a new ride. It was so exciting.

I loved too learn that you guys love music too! I really love music it's amazing, it gifts you with wonderful emotions! It restores my happiness and energy, and I truly couldn't live without it! I went to Universal earlier this summer, it was somehow even better than I imagined (which is really saying something)! Before I went I watched your videos for months and months! I was soooooo excited!! Me and most of my family are all HUGE Harry Potter fans and we all love theme parks (and I ❤ all the HP music)! We all loved universal soooo much! My brother got a wand and I got robes and a tie (and I ordered a hufflepuff scarf online a few days ago, I love it! Ima griffinpuff btw), and both my sisters got jackets of their houses, oh and I got the same baby niffler and the brown baby niffler too! From the moment I first saw them I knew I had to get them too! Aren't they adorable? And they're nifflers! I ❤ nifflers with ALL my heart!! The first time I found out what they were I just-oh my gosh I've been in love ❤ with them ever since!! We all really loved Hagrids and the Velocicoaster and many more! Park tickets! Express gets more expensive as people buy them for that specific day, but single day tickets should be about the same. Make sure you buy them a few days before, though. They’re more expensive at the gate!
