Korean corn dog's batter is actually made with flour (some people put a part of glutinous rice flour as well), water, salt and it actually has yeast in it! It's like a very sticky pizza dough!
yess! some people just make it really watery to dip it in easily, but it doesnt taste as good

for the cheese pull: when you go up in size the square cube law kicks in and you need to change ratios to compensate, see Alix's giant raindrop cake for a good example of something that was sensitive to size and ratio
Alvin used to do actual research, trial and error till he gets it right. The show now is kind of lazy.. Tway needs to step up her game

the batter is supposed to have yeast in it, it makes it get a fluffy like a donut texture when fried

The Korean corndogs actually incorporate rice flour to enhance the chewyness and it’s part of what differentiates the batter apart from other kinds- I wish that had been incorporated in the recipe but nonetheless props to huge effort in making a giant corn dog!

OH YEAH, the name if that sidequest cooking game was “yet another cooking game” .. It was released as a part if a PHD candidate research project.. Its being suggested to him to make it into a commercial title in the app store by others. If you branded it, it would push your VR offering with the quest community than horizons does, and you could influence the development of the game than be at the mercy of meta to add functionality to their game engine. He might even sell the licensing to you, so you could have others deploy the game and collect royalties for the management of the codebase and licensing. The guy who made it, won't likely be interested in developing it into a commercial offering cause he'll make more money landing a job as a senior developer.

Cornmeal for one... And other differences.. Isn't the korean batter has yeast in it.. They make it like a wet bread kind of consistency . They put both yeast n baking powder.. That's why they twirl the dog in the batter not dunk it in..

I went to Seoul twenty years ago, and was fed by the teenagers a fastfood item that looked like a 6x1x1 rod of something white with the consistency of a noodle, and covered in a elongated bowl with some kind of thin red glaze sauce.
Well it burned my mouth off, and I'm from New Mexico (home of hatch chiles). In korea they love spicey..

Could you guys give the ingredient amounts? I'm not gonna make anything that big, but as we know the beef to pork ratio is 5 to 1, so we can have the amounts lowered for more regular corndogs.

I SAW THIS IN THE QUEST NEWS FEED… It was a laugh.. I was thinking, VR180 is perfect for this kind of cooking show.. You should place the VR180 camera on the table, it gives people the perspective and sensation of their head being embedded in the table. I got an audience for things like that.. Its the cheap exploitation of VR180 in the same spirit of using Anaglyph 3D to poke at the audience. In fact in the 80s when polarized glasses were being used to create color 3D , a spaghetti western called “Coming at you” was released, and people went to it not for the movie but all the cheap exploitations on 3D..
When theVR headsets became mainstream, Tom Cruise tested to see if he could make a Impossible Mission in VR180, he determined he couldn't use guide wires and he had to do his own stunts.. Ask your vr camera man about that project.. I'm sure everyone heard about, he did it, but I guess he needed to prove to himself it was not possible to make a cinematic VR180 action movie..
