people will complain if a guide isn't "thorough enough" AND if it's "way too long", it's so annoying. I assure you normal people appreciate informative guides lmao
I would kind of discourage people from unlocking all of the characters right away. One of the endgame grinds is unlocking your characters Terminus weapon, and the more characters you have unlocked, the bigger the pool of weapons that will drop, making it harder to get your mains weapon. Also, if you wait to get the characters later, they will scale to a higher level and with more masteries unlocked, so less grinding you have to do on them.
At this point I'm gonna trust every game you recommend, I wasn't gonna play it, but seeing that was getting traction I tried it and man, I'm having a blast
Thank you for the detailed video. There are a lot of us that appreciate you giving examples when you're talking about all these systems. Don't let the vocal minority get you down. The chapters are a great help if someone needs a specific topic.
Literally no other guide I have watched mentioned ascension weapons… Ive been struggling in the late end game, and I am hoping this is the missing link. Time to invest into it.
Really appreciate this. As I’m making my way through chapter 0 the games throwing more and more systems at me to help make my party stronger but I had no idea where to start from.
Awesome detailed guide, was feeling a bit overwhelmed after unlocking Very Hard and this vid with all the mechanics about endgame really let me focus on what I want to farm for, thanks!
On characters like Gran, Narmaya, Percival, Vaseraga etc that have charge attacks on square or triangle they can be used as a parry/counter! Providing you have the large parry node unlocked usually not too far down on the offensive tree!
They are normally useless. The timing on them are jank, better just to dodge, though with that stout heart thing it might be worth it. I have only managed to get it once with percival so far.
I was hesitant to get the game, because I was worried it would be too easy. And while the game hasn't been particularly challenging early on, there's something oddly satisfying about clearing the stages, gathering materials, and learning the different character's playstyles. So far, I don't regret picking it up, and if the game ends up walking me at some point, it'll end up being a fantastic game. As always, appreciate the guide!
Thanks, exactly what I was looking for. There are a lot of quality guides I was watching but I felt like there was a gap between where they were starting (usually mentioning Proto Bahamut in the first few moments or Damage Cap Sigils) and where I found myself after the story. Usually there's a lot of mistakes that can be made between those points just by following quest markers and buying/upgrading whatever so I was looking for a guide like this one.
Thanks for this video dude, too many short 10-15 minute “guides” out there for this right with people explaining only the very basic stuff because they had to rush out a video. I appreciate it. Let’s see that 1-hour knickknack shop video :)

When it comes to curio, you just go there, give em and get rewards - you can get some of the strongest sigils in the game there, and don't be afraid to use them - the loot "hidden" in them is decided the moment you get them as far as I know (there is some trick where you can gamble and reload the game to get different gamble results, but it does not work with curios)
Yes and no. Eventually that is always true, but when are going through the story a flat increase might be better. If your attack is less than 1000 for example, 100 attack is better than 10% attack and so on. Generally speaking, any multiplicative increase will be better than an additive one, however like in most games, early on additive bonuses can be huge increases where multiplicative increases can be almost worthless. With a smallest bit of algebra you can find the exact moment it's better to make the switch. Edit: Just to point out that during much of the campaign flat attack increases aren't "bad" and can and should be used until you reach the point they can be replaced.

A couple of corrections. Mirage Munitions only go up to 99, not 100. Zathba's appraisals are available upon Main Story completion, not relatively early into the story. Another thing people should keep on top of is Trophies. In the menu if you select "Lyria's Journal" there is a "Trophies" submenu. Alot of these give bonus items and materials, so it should be checked often. Also I wanted to mention that there's a an option, when uncapping, to use a rare item called a "Damascus ingot". This will completely bypass all material requirements for uncapping that level. Recommended for the final uncap as it costs so much.

Just how much the damage cap level for safe meassure? I can only reach lv30.
Eventually you'll need it maxed, but specifically you'll want to evaluate whether or not your damage is capping or not. If you cap, you need more, if you don't focus on offensive stats
I am surprised about the ascension weapons. Atm I don't have that unlocked at all.
You need to max a specific weapon to unlock it, look up on the wiki which one you need for the character you're using.
LETS GOOOOO
How do you even get an ascension weapon?
No button remap puts me off. Maybe when they implement it
My physical copy finally arrives today, so for me this is on time.
