Huge thanks to World of Warcraft for sponsoring this project! World of Warcraft: The War Within launches on August 26, which is available for pre-order - bit.ly/TheWarWithin_BlackBeardProjects
What a huge undertaking. Being accurate to the games design that blade looks heavy and cumbersome. Those rubies embedded to the handle I would think make it unwieldable. Doesn't that dig into your hands? Props to being as accurate as possible, amazing craftsmanship as usual.
I love your casting projects. I used to manage a lot of industrial die casting parts, and would like to make statues or something some day. Thanks for sharing!
Noooo! 😮 Vabbè ormai non penso ci sia niente che tu non possa fare! 👏🏼👏🏼 Fantastico lavoro 💪🏼 che mi ha riportato ai giorni in cui giocavo Warcraft I & II ⚔️🖥️
Not at all! After everything cools down stuff just flakes off, a quick scrub with a spoon or spatula and it's clean. Or you can just leave it with a bit of metal in it if you always melt the same, actually makes the melting process quicker if you do so.
That steel rod tool of yours is quite interesting..... Is that your own design or a common thing in Blacksmithing? Also I GOTTA know, what is the total weight of that sword? It looked really hard to weild
Surely the only thing that could be used against Xal'atath would be her former prison - the Blade of the Black Empire? As a Shadow Priest during Legion, that would be an awesome build to see. Great work with Shalamayne, though, it's quite a complex design, but you pulled it off well!
Doomhammer made to its proper in-game size would be so heavy no normal person would even be able to pick it up off the ground, unless it was just a hollow prop, which would be...disappointing. :D A professional prop maker/youtuber, I forget his name, made a hollow Doomhammer years and years ago now, it looked...lame. And it was still really rather heavy as it was. :)
dude! If only it were physically possible to have it be 100% lore accurate, but we don't live in that universe 😁 Got me thinking about how close you could get it, but it'd take a lot longer than ten days to get it done. As for something to defeat Xal'atath: the Doomhammer would be my first choice, but there's also Shadowmourne.
So, that's the sword with the power to postpone a move! Excellent work, Gader! I'm not too fond of the design, but that's on WoW and the gaming trend. The result fits the game, but you have to be an Orc to wield it 😅
Why do you think it needs a full tang? A tang would be unnecessary for this project and this isn’t a cheap wall hanger with a tac welded, rats tail tang. The weld he did, with the thickness of the threaded rod he used, is plenty strong enough for what it needs.
@@LCGunsexcept it wasn’t a rat tail tang, at least not like the ones you find on cheap wall hangers . Those are just tac welded, which is why they’re not very strong. But a properly welded rod of sufficient thickness will be more than adequate for what he used it for. Don’t forget he did several test cuts with it into a solid block of wood. If the welds weren’t strong enough he likely wouldn’t have done the tests, certainly not as many times as he did.
Kinda sad you only had 10 days. It feels like the quality suffered a lot. It also feels lame that they gave you a sword to build with impossible features

Dude, you should definitely try out for "forged in fire". You'd make an awesome contestant and you'd most likely win.
Gotta love that "CHONG!" sound it makes when it smacks into something.
24:58 - Not enough rage...

well its not accurate, considering the weapon could turn it into 2 1 handed weapons.
It is always mesmerizing watching a master craftsman working, especially on a classy forge; I am raising the hat for your skills man!
Well, that’s the first time I’ve seen an industrial strength Hitachi Magic Wand.
I love your casting projects. I used to manage a lot of industrial die casting parts, and would like to make statues or something some day. Thanks for sharing!
Wow wow wow... absolutely amazing!! You are excellent at your craft. Very talented
So much free hand skill and knowledge of tools. Sword truly fit for a king
What a monster of a sword! Love it!!!
Beautiful work as always. Thank you.

nice craft, you roxx bro!!! Beard on!!!
Now if there is ever an attack of the Killer Tomatoes, you’re be all set.
Amazing work man! :D
Nice blade. That could be a nice collaboration start with Michael Cthulhu.
would have inset the gems in the handle a bit, they had to dig something fierce into your palm.
Always happy to see a fellow Firminy anvil user!
BB - You may want to double your time at the gym. That thing looks heavy man. Love your work sir, keep it up. Thanks for the upload.
Your craftsmanship is wonderful, congratulations. I'be curious to know its weight tho
Incredible work as always 😍😍
fantastic work, congratulations
You should make Kingsmourne now, so you will have done both the Life & Death versions of the sword. Great build.
Oh yes, so pleased to see an upload!
Fascinating to watch, lad….well done
Came out awesome. Great job.👍😎
Uh heavens what a pleasant sight to see this picture... WoW forever🤘🏻🤘🏻 Well done, sir🤩🤩💥💥
Incredible work as always 👍👍
Those sparks don’t hurt skin? Always wondered. Could they catch his shirts on fire?
Wow !!! This was cool .....REALLY COOL !! You have a real talent and are a true artist's !! It looks amazing and cuts fantastic!! GREAT WORK !! I 👍👍👍
as a melee player, this is insane
good job
Incredibly awesome.
Solo Blizzard poteva pensare a quella punta che minaccia il polso, però il risultato è selvaggiamente bello.
Great job. Really cool.
Outstanding work!
Very good and in the creative process, full of different techniques. What brand of cutter did you use to make the hole?
The plasma cutter? Granma gift from LILD ❤️
We need another one! Great job.
Это же шаламейн, легендарный разделяющийся меч Вариана Ринна.
Have you ever made a knife from used steel from a Tetra Pak machine?😊
That was wonderfully done.👍👍
Nice work of art. Did you know that it was likely (the real) Charlemagne's sword that inspired the legend of Excalibur?
Beautiful job.
Nooo not the brick smash 😭
Beautiful work though!
Amazing.
Your fans from Saudi Arabia
That is amazing!
Stupid question, but how do you clean the leftover molten metal in the bottom of the crucible before reusing it to melt something else?
Not at all! After everything cools down stuff just flakes off, a quick scrub with a spoon or spatula and it's clean. Or you can just leave it with a bit of metal in it if you always melt the same, actually makes the melting process quicker if you do so.
@@BlackBeardProjects Oh cool, thank you!
How thick is the blade at the thinnest ? This gutter seems so fragile !!!
So good.. please make more videos like this 😁
Awesome job! What is the rotary tool you're using for carving?
Lots of love from Bangladesh ❤❤❤
That steel rod tool of yours is quite interesting..... Is that your own design or a common thing in Blacksmithing?

Very cool build
Hello mister beautifully made good job well done

NICE! Hope to see you make the Doomhammer next

@lennyvalentin6485 Maybe make a smaller version of Doomhammer like the size of a blacksmith hammer. Make the hammer head a bit small or medium size
wow its very huge and heavy but its beautiful and unieqe
Mantap bro! 🎉👍👍👍
dude!

How on earth did Xal'Atath figure out your name?! 😮 awesome job
Hello. What kind of steel was the blade? Thank you.
This is insane. How much does it weigh?
He said almost 10kg in another comment
So cool!!
Very nice sir thank you for sharing this with us six stars
Сколько это весит ?😮
Almost 10kg 😳
Would u ever make Ronan Dex's sword f4m stargate atlantis
What kind of steel did you use?
What tool makes the rough shape?
Just how much does that monstrosity weigh??
In another comment he said about 10kg!
@@andy4an Geez
@@andy4an Ok. My written Russian/Ukrainian isn’t so good.
Thanks.
Perfetto👌

Thanks man! Yeah, big swords are cool in games 🥰
Hell yeah.
I like the war weapons only those actually sustain in different situations not designer one
so good
Amazing
But can it cut paper?
i know its an art piece but it need a full tang
That's not even close to the most unreasonable part of this...
He said it's like 10kg!
But yeah, that bugged me too

@@CharlieNoodles cause the rat tail no matter how well done is still a weak point if but under pressure. jmo

Nice 😎😎😎👍👍👍
crazy thing
절대로 이 칼을 두개로 쪼개지 말 것...
💯👍😊💯
It's a good idea to make games weapons specially shadow fight
10 days easy !
The fruit ninja just levelled up 😮
awesome video bro, really awesome and hugh like for this. full watch and big big like here..
Thanks man! Appreciated!
It boggles the mind that wow is still running the same graphic engine as they had in 2005 and people still pay to play it
cause people dont play wow for the graphics........ plus there is nothing wrong with them
It boggles the mind that there's still people who use this argument. If you don't like the game, just say it.
👏👏👏👏👏🤜🤛
😃🤘
That was un-forge-unate that you had to remake the pommel... I'll see myself out.
I build a lot of weird stuff myself just letting your fantasy go
Kinda sad you only had 10 days. It feels like the quality suffered a lot. It also feels lame that they gave you a sword to build with impossible features
That sword is not functional becose the tang is very thin...!
That's a 12mm bolt! Perfectly fine.
Lmao a solid steel bolt, on a sword that weighs barely 10kg. It's more than functional.
Blizzard doesn't deserve it

Incredible work.
this did not go well
Cutting into the edge of your anvil while plasma Cutting stock is SERIOUSLY frowned upon.😢
