This guy is one of the best. He is talking from experience, is genuine and transparent and his advice would cost thousands if via “ management consultants “. Thank you James you’ve helped me on my road-trip to my factory in the desert (Dubai)
This is a reall business man. I can’t stand all these podcasters chatting sh1te making google Adsense money only. This dude is the real deal. Real bricks and mortar business creating value and creating 100s of jobs. I did it once, opened both a bar gallery and restaurant.
I’ve followed James through various events and online for nearly 7 years now. I find his openness on how each of his businesses are run and the financial aspect to each one so refreshing. To have someone who has scaled to that level and be completely open about the journey is absolute gold dust to any entrepreneur. There’s lots of golden nuggets to be had from his content. Thanks Jim 🍻
hi james i was surprised when you mentioned philippines❤🥰… i didnt know you’ve been there.. thank you for that… as a Filipino-british citizen living here in the uk happy to her those recognition to my country.. i thought of putting a small cafe with a mixed of filipino and english fish and chips😮😅… i hope you can be my mentor here.. i am more interested listening to you after mentioning you love philipiknes🙌.. i hope you see this message my brother
Great video James. I'm also from Essex and have visited a number of your businesses. Saw you in Maldon once and nearly said hi, but bottled it. Keep up the great content!
James, I have just discovered you Oct 2024. I’m addicted and been binge watching your videos at all hours between work hours! You are an inspiration, and a god send!! Graham, Strichen Antiques🙏
Hi looking for a mentor this has helped so much, have a small business. Grew very quickly now struggling to get to the next stage. Videos are great thank you 🙏
A better model than Love, Want, Need would be 1. Self satisfaction and 2. Satisfying someone or something else. Our purchases can be clearly divided into those two behaviours.
I chuckled at your statement "The biggest cost to your business walks on two legs." Funny. But once again this is where the brand makes a big difference. Staff will work harder for less when working for a good brand.
Hei! Just found your channel, while searching for advice on starting my first coffee shop. Just one question, how come you are not extremely viral yet? :D Love your content, and the experience you bring into this videos!
James, you’ve been amazing for helping me grow my roofing business. I would love to have you on my podcast to share these tips and pointers with a focus on trades business owners. Let me know if you would like to. Thanks Jamie
I’ve done the start-up to £2m journey 3 times. One of them really succeeded, two covered the bills and I shut them down…. James is dead right. #thistimenextyearrodders
As usual, it's an amazing video by James. This guy shares knowledge to others for free !. Which is very rare quality for an entrepreneur. Keep coming more & more. You keep saying high barrier entry business is best option. Can you please do the video on pros & cons of high barrier entry business & strategy to get succeeed?
Out of interest, how much time each week do you spend planning the content of these videos before you start filming? I ask because they’re so good! It would take me a full day beforehand.
It’s not just me now. There’s 3 FTE on the creation team. I do spend more time thinking about them nowadays. Filming them is the quick bit. Editing and planning is the stuff that can take time. Having done so many seminars and videos you know the stuff that works which helps speed up the process.
Great content James - I have shared with some fellow entrepreneurs. Only point I would challenge you on is the need for high GP. Whilst of course we would all love a high GP, there is no reason you can’t build a successful business with a 20-25% GP and 10-12% NP. What do you think ? Dani
@@JamesSinclairEntrepreneur I'm deep in a ugandan village on a truck full of bamanas at the moment so no use right now 😀 But when the situation demands will be sure to check him out
If you have 4OM in revenue and 1200 employees that mean each employer brings in $33,000 each. Which means your not making money 🤔 James Sinclair I think you mean 120 employees. I sure hope so lol
You know you're a business owner when everyone else is having a BBQ in the sun and you're at work watching James Sinclair waiting for a customer. Great content as always. Jacob from GBwheels.
Struggling to see how you’re a 40 mil business when none of your 15 businesses are audited 🤔. Anyone knows you get an audit if you’re over the 10 mil mark or employ over 50 people, I call 🐂💩.
I have 23 companies. 2 of which will be audited this next financial year. You’re welcome. You get 2 years grace and rather than go for audit we have always started other companies to avoid the audit fees. Going forward that’s not possible anymore as 2 of them will make it in their own right anyhow. Thanks for your kind words.
If you find yourself watching James Sinclair on a Saturday night while sitting in your office, this video is tailored just for you.
Precisely 👌
I’m glad I’m not the only one 😂
Its called know your customer, it's it
The reason why James is so good is that his business experience is un-rivalled as well as his brilliant delivery-great video.

James you took the Simon Squibb play book and ran with it with this video, similar title and hook. Very smart.

For investing in commercial property, which category would you recommend starting with? Eg. Warehousing?

Extremely helpful. Things I’ve thunk but not been able to condense in to anything coherent!

15:00 You've missed out the most important word...BRAND. Get the branding right and everything else falls into place.
Great video thanks
I always wish someone like this invested in me
Great vid, thanks James 👍
Well done James, great value in this video.BTW I was thinking of F&M alongside Harrods 👍
Me too- I thought about that just after I said it 😂😂

In my experience- a 20% GP delivering a 10% net profit ….. I haven’t seen before.
I've got a degree in action. Love this James thanks as always

7:40 No. The 20% VAT of £200k was never yours in the first place. It is a tax the consumer pays but you collect on behalf of the government.
My view the 20% is too high and should be lower.
Nice video James 👍🏼 see you in September
See you in September! Can't wait for the event.
Never have one person run the whole show or else you won’t be able to sell, Noted ✅
Nice whistle
