- Sam Scheid from Bountiful says he prayed for months to be home for his son's birth while on his second tour in Afghanistan. He was told he had 30 minutes to get on a plane, and now will be home for 30 days.

There are so precious those meetings..I'm really touched by all them... besides USA value their Army, Navy. And Air Force, very much and I really loved that...

How beautiful is that? That was awesome!
She was in for a really good surprise. Loved it.
i know what it is to have a husband gone overseas. my husband scott was in south korea for a year. he left when our son was 4 and our daughter was 8 months. she cried when she saw him because she did not know who he was.
colleen wright i have a dad in Iraq right now
@@haleyarthur7774 Giving this comment a thumbs-up just doesn't feel right! I want to affirm her sacrifice but without implying that I like her loved-one being gone in any way!

Gorgeous!!
Welcome home Sir !
I ❤ you honey bunny and I missed you so very much 😊
Am gonna go thru the same. Husbands sailing and with the covid shutdowns don't know if he will make it in time (Oct '21) to see his kid being born.
Hoping for the best☺️☺️.
I love this.
How’d you get here?
Babe, I am a pilot.
Émouvant 🇨🇵
What’s up with these dislikes?...
i did not see my youngest son till he was over 5 years old, i was too essential to get leave. i have not seen them in 20 plus years because USN says i was too essential. family has not let me see them because of HATE
No one is that essential. You had to have reenlisted at least a couple times in 20 years. Sounds like you put your family right where you wanted them, in second place after the navy. Choices have consequences. They didn't want left-overs. You could've ETS'd at some point to save your marriage/family. Thank you for your service but I, for one, would never ask you to sacrifice your family for my country. Your not that irreplaceable, no one is!
great USA WOMEN!
I put them FIRST, TO PROVIDE THEM WITH WHAT I PROVIDED GROWING UP BECAUSE DAD DID NOT PROVIDE. Food on the Table and ex wife college education from a BA TO DD.
And you may think to yourself, "This is not my beautiful wife....she barely kissed me!!" ;-)
Mamá
When I was on active duty, a battalion would go out to the field for a months worth of training, the enlisted and NCO wives would head to the officers club while the officers wives would go to the NCO club for free drinks and a frolicking party atmosphere of dancing and questionable behavior. Good that I was single and and a 2nd lieutenant.
Ja ja ja jullie willen oorlogen
Yawn....🙄🙄🙄
