Maybe cut some tin metal to make stakes for the flowers? Would be a fast change out and you could write the varieties with a paint pen - then switch out with the etched glass as time allows.

Pyro here too!😁😁A good burn is actually a wonderful thing to be doing especially when it is a controlled burn--not like the out of control burns from lack of controlled forestry care.

Now I've seen people freeze wet jeans for their yards, but a sock garden is a first for me!! That'd be hilarious if during the blooming season you stuffed each sock and placed them on sticks the same height as the iris' !!

Funny you mentioned the monarch’s because I have a butterfly house on my lanai and raise butterflies from tiny eggs and release them as butterflies. They are all over my gardens here in Florida and so pretty to see😊

Love to burn stuff. Especially old cut down trees. My dad and I used to enjoy sitting by the fire roasting hotdogs n marshmallows n just talking. Loved the talking part best.
