Francis M started out as a breakdancer. He grew up during the Breakdance culture craze in the 80s. Then he started rapping when he noticed there were no Filipino rap music artists and they were mostly dancing to foreign rap music. So he started his own label and formed a back up dance group called Spindicate Posse to back him up during his concerts. The DJ is his friend DJ MOD (Master of Disaster) who serves as his mixer, back up music and band master during his concerts.

When you said sir Gary is an inspiring figure, I really couldn’t agree more. I saw him for the first time during a leadership camp in high school and he didn’t only perform but also shared inspiring messages which made me tear up that time. That’s when I realized why he’s such an icon.

I love his Showback Thursday particularly his old concerts and the ones with his children performing with him. If Regine is known for popularizing belting, Gary V is known for his singing, songwriting, and AWESOME DANCING. you should see more of his old concerts.Efra was right, Gary V is always stable in singing even while dancing and he's done a lot of that in his concerts.

Gary had a concert in our area a few years ago and kept everyone up and dancing for almost an hour straight. He’s still got his magic. Francis M is wearing Filipino traditional clothes and yes, they’re cool. ❤️ He was an actor first then a dancer, then a singer. He played musical instruments too. The man was multitalented in the truest sense of the term. His parents were Filipino acting royalty and his mom was known as one of the most beautiful actresses, as in ever, Tita Duran.
I think those where the days that young adults go to concert almost every month... And you can see tons of artist on the concert. Like martin and Pops Fernandez, there's also the good looking guy who wave his arms like Crazy.
Francis M.'s parents were popular actors decades before. He lived in the US for a while that's why he knew much more about rap. He started rap here. Prior to that, he starred in a few teen flicks where he was able to show his breakdancing moves. Then he started rapping and was part of a show where he made "Yo! Yes, Yes, Yo!" popular. From then on, he concentrated more on his rapping. He occasionally acted on TV and in later years, also hosted a noontime show with other people. At least four of his kids joined showbusiness. He coined the very popular phrase 'Three Stars and a Sun", referring to our flag, ergo, the Filipino. That's also the brand name of his clothes line.
These guys are Kings! Gary is one of the powerful vocalists and a very talented composer of our country! Francis Magalona was a a legend too! Francis was a great rapper, and he doesn't just rap trashy songs, he composed very meaningful songs that will live forever in our hearts and minds. We almost lost Gary a year or two ago due to heart complications caused by his diabetes. I love both these men. They're truly inspirational! PS: Please watch Maxine Magalona (daughter of Francis) perform her dad's song in Your Face Sounds Familiar! She wore that exact wardrobe of Francis. She paid tribute to her father. Let me see you guys cry. 😆 Gary is also a part of that show, you will see how much he really adored Francis. ☺️

He was an actor first then a dancer, then a singer. He played musical instruments too. The man was multitalented in the truest sense of the term. His parents were Filipino acting royalty and his mom was known as one of the most beautiful actresses, as in ever, Tita Duran.
Ooohh, I was never in that concert. Watched when it was aired on tv and it was really fun and I got exhausted while watching. Lol!

I think those where the days that young adults go to concert almost every month... And you can see tons of artist on the concert. Like martin and Pops Fernandez, there's also the good looking guy who wave his arms like Crazy.

Francis M.'s parents were popular actors decades before. He lived in the US for a while that's why he knew much more about rap. He started rap here. Prior to that, he starred in a few teen flicks where he was able to show his breakdancing moves. Then he started rapping and was part of a show where he made "Yo! Yes, Yes, Yo!" popular. From then on, he concentrated more on his rapping. He occasionally acted on TV and in later years, also hosted a noontime show with other people. At least four of his kids joined showbusiness. He coined the very popular phrase 'Three Stars and a Sun", referring to our flag, ergo, the Filipino. That's also the brand name of his clothes line.

I was able to watch Gary V. in his concert in our school...
These guys are Kings! Gary is one of the powerful vocalists and a very talented composer of our country! Francis Magalona was a a legend too! Francis was a great rapper, and he doesn't just rap trashy songs, he composed very meaningful songs that will live forever in our hearts and minds. We almost lost Gary a year or two ago due to heart complications caused by his diabetes. I love both these men. They're truly inspirational!
PS: Please watch Maxine Magalona (daughter of Francis) perform her dad's song in Your Face Sounds Familiar! She wore that exact wardrobe of Francis. She paid tribute to her father. Let me see you guys cry. 😆 Gary is also a part of that show, you will see how much he really adored Francis. ☺️

I'm one of them haha I was 11 that time and my brother take to me Gary v concert because he is a fan of Francis m and me I don't know that time that I was going to the concert until I sow the big banner outside the ultra and that was the first time I hug my brother to the bone..
I have watched Gary V. live and walk out the there sweating to death but truly really inspired. May you react more to his other works.
