I think they only did that because in pet sim x, new players can easily beg for late game pets and progress faster. Now in pet sim 99 there's a damage reduction so that new players have to get one area to another slower. Kinda like that adjustment to the game

My theory was every area has a dmg cap when you enter a new area you could see that the dmg was slow but after you unlock next 5-6 areas the pet get those dmg caps so the first area will become a cakewalk (Mentioning for who buys pets from plaza as soon as the update releases) Anyways love ur information vids keep doing❤
For 0:50 max damage is always 1/3 of breakables hp, this was the case since psx. the reason for that is the math taht determine how much loot you get depends on damage and hits, if you insta break that will amke the game devide by 0 which give you infinite coins
Damage cap will gradually increase over time as they add more contents and area,also delay exploiters to unlock highest loot area quicker and ruin markets. However at the end of the day, devs need to come out with better patch and clear message.

do 95 exclusives take their % off your best huge or is it all stats pets? like since you have a level99 titanic is your 95% exlusives doing 95% of that damage from the titanic or just w.e your best stat pet is ?
The amount of damage you do doesn’t change from breakable to breakable, it changes between zones. Breakables have different maxes but your pets have the same power against everything
The damage for the pet is it's base damage. Rebirthing increases pet power by 75% iirc, so using those pets at rebirth 4 in an area is gonna do less damage than rebirth 6, which is why there's that gap between stated and actual damage output. But i honestly like how they do it here, it feels like I actually have to work to progress, plus it helps for new players getting event pets, and still enjoy it.

No that’s the base damage. Because you have the star buff thing bottom left. And then if you trade those same pets to an alt in first area. It still does less. BUT if you get to the last area in the game with no rebirths it will do the correct damage
You didn't mention upgrades, rebirth boosts, enchants and boosts. Also new areas make you deal more damage in previous areas. It is weird that different types of pets has such differece to their stats. I think at some point game counts multipliers incorrectly and gives better pets even higher damage, or devs just made some weird multiplier, as they did for enchants.

No it still makes sense. The stat being shown is just the base damage then to find out its real damage, you gotta plug in the factors to the base damage. Mostly it is just decreased or increased by percent. It all depends on the area + your rebirth

Its a code improvement the shiny or type variant the gold rainbow and shiny tags have a multiplier for best performance

See we all overlooked something very big is that when u rebirth it gives u a damage boost so that applies to the pet
the damage of your pet also involves what breakable your breaking... big safe has more defense and hp in a sense then a small coin.

Rebirths honestly feel off. It’s not equal to the amount they should be increased and the first one I covered does less than its damage number.

That is because of the breakable max, it limits the amount of damage you can do to 1/3 of the breakable
my pet has 1.77t damage but instead it does like 2 billion damage only. Anyone knows why??

Yeah I spent a long time trying to minimize boosts so it can be as fair as possible and the only boost this account has is rebirth

Damage maxes aren’t scaling to a pets damage it’s just a cut off point.
