I actually hate coming back to these songs now that it's 2019 and we see what he's become. I absolutely love every song he comes out with as much as ever, don't get me wrong. He's just so different, everything from his actual music to his rapping is just a complete 180, nothing like what he used to be. There is a group of friends and a significant other out there for everyone. There are beautiful, I mean really beautiful memories to be made with the people you surround yourself with. As an adult, you have to do better. Knock out your responsibilities and then thrive woth your loved ones. Drakes music seems to just put me into this beautiful place. Im grateful for that. When this dropped in 2010, I was mad in love with this girl.I was 18, the emotion and desire between here and I was my life. Looking back at how intense and passionate it was, fucks me up a little. We watched this vid together. We lived that passion. The break up suuuuucked. lol But they were fucking great times. I wouldnt change a thing. I know now, she wasnt the right girl for me, so im glad it ended. But the memories of how we cared for eachother at that time, are amazing. Im glad I had the experience. She taught me what love was. I taught here what trust was. In the end it got to be more like Eminems Love the Way You Lie video. No physical abuse, but an intense hate love dynamic that tore us apart for different reasons. I watched this video and that one after it was over. That was 2009-11 for me. Damn life moves fast.
Look, if you read this far, thank you for taking the time. Life really does move fast, but there are opportunities everywhere to create intense memories and overwhelming joy. The pain that we feel at times can serve to highlight the joy by allowing you to compare the two. Not all pain is bad. Idk who you are or what your life has been like up until now. I bet you can easily point to the darkest time in your life, but what was your most happy time? Find that happy time. Find a way to turn your hardest times now, into those deep passionate joyful times that you remember. It does take work. Working towards a life that brings you passion, joy, and peace, is better than wasting time wallowing in pain. I feel like 10 years later, as an actual adult, it can be easy to get caught up in survival mode. Fuck survival mode! We can all do better than that. Complete your daily responsibilities and then find a way to enjoy the life you are in now, or work towards the life you want to be in. I dont mean becoming wealthy. Having money can help almost any situation, but the real joy is with the people you love. The time spent figuring out life together. If your alone right now, just start talking to people. There is a group of friends and a significant other out there for everyone. There are beautiful, I mean really beautiful memories to be made with the people you surround yourself with. As an adult, you have to do better. Knock out your responsibilities and then thrive woth your loved ones. Drakes music seems to just put me into this beautiful place. Im grateful for that. That is my joy in this moment. What is your moment of joy today? Go find it. Go enjoy it. If no one else told you this today, I will. I love you. Be you, be happy.
