As a creator of the skinwalker strat just make sure you hide behind the rock as he is in this video, if you hide behind a tree you have to have great timing as he can still pull you, if you are using proto fire 4 shots then duck back when doing solo / duo but if your in a trio then you can possibly empty out a full mag and hide behind the tree.
Also, the general store in the reservation camp, if you’re hunting the skinwalker, go to the stairs next to the general store and stand beside it. Wait for the skinwalker to hit you and it there’s a high chance of it hitting you under the stairs allowing you to shoot it under the stairs without it reaching you.
Something I found out is if you drop the vials for the Skin Walker, wait alittle (like 1 or 2 seconds) and then pick them back up BEFORE the Skin Walker spawns, the Skin Walker will still spawn. Idk if it was a one time bug or if it still works.

The skinwalker is defenetly easier and better, since u get an op bow, spear and some hats plus it's easier to kill it. The wendigo is harder, it can teleport, bigger damage and not many opportunities for it except give the ribs to Jane or get the windigo horse and hat. But I currently grind the Wendigo since I've got everything from the Skinwalker

At the building in reservation you can spawn it in the corner with the table and it will get stuck and you can kill it (for skinwalker)

U can also use the table n wall near the store at tribal on the left side the pull will get you under the table sometimes but it works And the wall counters pull

Dam you can actually kill Jane instead of the Wendigo to get the occult shotgun and demon hunter outfit and the shotgun is pretty mid cos it’s like the revolving shotgun but it looks nice .
You can also ragdoll button under stairs in silvertown and kill it without it touching you
And you can kukri spam which is a massive time saver

You can use a mele weapon and get under it to kill it while in the water, it's easier and faster

The wendigo doesn't spawn completely randomly, it spawns in The Great Desert, Pinewood and Tribal Forest, in this event I have mainly seen it in Tribal.
Forgot Howling, Callahan and I believe Swamp also.

I’ve killed the wendige 2 times doki using the train station method and I haven’t gotten a mask can you tell me if it’s luck based or is it a bug
There is a small chance it will drop. I’ve seen it drop once and I’ve probably killed it 15 times

Get a high fire-rate weapon, get up close to it and unload into it's head. Usually you can kill them before they hit you
