How Microsoft word reduces picture quality and how to fix it

- By default Microsoft Word will compress and resize pictures you add to a document. If you later try to save the same picture from the Word document, you will be left with a compressed and ugly version of the picture. If you haven’t kept the original picture file you will never get the original back!
The fix is very easy:
In Word just go to File - Options - Advanced and check do not compress images in file and set the default resolution to high fidelity. Make sure to do this for new documents as well by clicking on the drop down menu and select “All new Documents“. - Наука та технологія
Doesn't work! Exported images are still in low resolution.
Then you must be doing something wrong. Perhaps you forgot to apply the settings for all new documents or the document you were working on? Also, this won't magically change an image that has already been compressed.
It worked for me. Thank you so much for this tutorial!
Mine word is not showing high fidelity option.. its till 220 only.. why??

Thank you :)
thank you so muchh!!
This doesn't work for charts though. Is there some kind of option to allow high-res/vector exports? Cuz my charts are very pixelated after a PDF export :(
I have the same problem, did you find anyway to fix this ?
same issue here
Thank you
thannxxxxxxxx reallly appreciated
Bro my image is literally 20 pixels
thanks a lot for this tutorial
it works for me
Thank you!
Best solution I've found so far is to save word file as zip or html and then extract the pictures in original resolution.
Thanks, it worked!
