*Love* this remix! Glad I was able to find it here! Excellent job Sir Paul! Just love when that background male's vocal says "Love is what the word was"!
@@LadyHavana74 After a careful listen, I stand corrected. I'm not convinced it is Sade, although I do think its a woman, of West Indies decent/accent. I think its a sample... and I would like to thank you for making me notice this. I think they sampled someone...maybe an old regga/ska track and built the record around that. Has anyone ever worked it out? would be great to find out...
At any rate, I first came across this remix (your remix) on a CD of mine that I have, that I got from UA-cam, it was a compilation by a DJ (DJ Spivey) of all the remixes of Sade's top hits and this remix (your remix) was in it. That's what led me to this remix, it was my favorite remix of all the remixes that was in the compilation. It was so groovy and just made me want to dance!
@@paulhelsby I think it's an African man... He sounds like a Nigerian man to me and since Sade is half Nigerian, I think she very well may have wanted this sample in her song... Very interesting! :)
You can download this in lossless WAV, FLAC or mp3 here: paulhelsby.bandcamp.com/track/sade-every-word-paul-helsby-remix

Thanks Tanya! I always thought that was Sade Adu just singing an octave lower? But I could be wrong.
@@paulhelsby You think? Could it be? Hmm... I always thought it was a man's voice singing that part, a man she had to sing the part in her song...

"Beautiful as Usual "....
YES.
Needs slowing down a little make it a bit deeper
I'm a soulful house DJ, mate I need to keep people dancing. Otherwise I Wouldn't remix and play the original.
Dude, this is house music, you want slow and deep, listen to the original!
