TIP: Breach charges have a light which indicates what type of surface you're deploying them on. Red: Unbreakable (won't be able to deploy the charge). Yellow: Breakable (eg. floors with support struts that will stay). Green: Breachable (charge on in through that hole!).
LuaGod also, IQ is mobile because she has lvl 1 armor. Ash is also just as mobile. Weapons have no effect on mobility, only armor does. You should know that.
TIP: You can Kamikaze with a nitro cell on a weak/injured teammate. Place it on them and have them rush the enemy. When they die, or are in a big group, detonate the charge!
+AJ Alexander If It Comes Out In 2016 I'll Be Very Happy. Until Then, I Got This, Fallout 4, Battlefront And When It Comes Out, Uncharted 4. Also, Merry Christmas!

@@jondough7777777 I know that I'm 3 years late but you can just shoot then through a wall anywhere on the body and almost everytime you're guaranteed a down
Something a friend of mine found to be quite effective is if you have Fuze and any character with breaching charges especially Thermite. Set up the cluster bomb on one side of a room, breach on the other side so people move away from that side and then detonate the cluster bombs.
Some pretty decent tips here! I have to agree with one point being that communication is extremely important in this game, and makes things go smoother and with greater ease.
I personally think of IQ as one of the best operators, at least in ranked. If there is a Kapkan, which in my case is common, you can spot booby traps. Same goes for Lesion. Also, if you don’t find the objective within the preparation phase, you can see it.
I play on Xbox one & ive always put down a breaching charger by the defuser. These guys were going crazy last night about it "OMG bro I've never seen that, that's smart as hell!" I should've told em Matimio sent me
you kill bombers faster by shooting them in the head, and if you shoot them in the back they explode, but if they charge you then you should run screaming and rappel the nearest wall
+Mirokism The trap is very good against most sheild operators because the shield blocks their line of sight and most of the time they will just walk straight into it unless they are good players and start looking for them.
+Mirokism The debris from a door will sometimes cover up the laser. That's why I look for that huge drill piece that goes through the wall. Sticks out like a sore thumb
A fun one is to place a bear trap at one end of a corridor and a nitro cell at the other. When they approach you set off the nitro causing them to run away into the bear trap. Hehehe
I've noticed using corners with the frost mats work real well because of the way people like to sneak around corners and don't look down very often when playing
A trick I learned with thermites breaching charge is that people tend to watch the charge go off, as it is slow and catches their attention. If I know that there is an enemy in a room, with an unblocked entry point which said person is watching, find a destructible wall that leads into that room, place your charge and get ready by the already entry point. the second you set your charge, the enemy's attention will mostly likely go toward the charge, giving you the chance to enter the room and swiftly downing the enemy. Though I do have a 100% success rate with this, it only works with 1-2 enemies in said room
+5oh worst I don't know about rolling ones, but you can get a flying one of a similar size, so it should theoretically be able to slink under the same types of door, and obviously get up stairs, with a wireless real-time camera, for... 150 bucks on Amazon right now, looks like? I bought one last year. Hubsan X4 FPV. Fun toy.
+CerealUnicorn13 For yourself, obviously tweak your ADS sensitivity and you x/y axis sensitivity. If you're using a shield attacker, probably an idea to put a laser on their pistol for I think 50% accuracy boost from hip. (Enemies can see these, so don't throw a rave while you're playing) also, ADS whenever possible, the round will always head down straight if you're sighted, but if you put 30 bullets into a wall 1 by one from the hip, you realize just how much spread there is.
+CerealUnicorn13 _Keep in mind, less spread means more accuracy and a better bullet grouping:_ *-* Compensators, muzzleflash hiders and silencers change your bullet grouping, so they decrease spread. *-* Foregrips on your weapon always increase your accuracy. *-* Lasersights decrease spread and increase (only) hipfire accuracy. *-* The right sight can make aiming easier and more effective so that can help your accuracy as well.
I've used breach charges as traps to great effect! Good video, thanks. The deployable shield/electrified wire combo was a good suggestion. I've seen this used against others to good effect.
Something very important I learned the other day (tested). When your enemy is injured and he's falling on the floor, he's invincible during his fall animation so no point wasting bullets. If you see your enemy dropping on the floor injured, just stop shooting, wait for him to fall on the floor and then finish him.
+DrewEon yeah I've noticed that the reload times are kinda weird in Rainbow 6 Siege, like you see the animation finish, but like a few milliseconds later the fresh mag shows up down in the bottom right, makes me watch my ammo count more during reloads than the actual animation
Bruh I got a triple kill with ash because the enemy threw down a nitro cell, so I decided to take it out the fun way and 3 of em were on the other side of the wall.
when playing with friends and really good set up is ash or thermite, thatcher, and blitz. you have the ash or thermite place there gadget on door before once they blow it up have your thatcher throw an emp to disable any traps then have your blitz take lead into room flashing any enemys with his shield and while he goes in you and your team backs him and clears out room. this is just in my opinion one of the definite better ways to attack an objective
Deployable sheilds on def is probably one of the better def gadgets in the game, mostly because if you put it just in front of a door, you can still barricade it and unless they have a means to destroy the sheild, (sledge, gernade, ash) they can't actually breach the door. instead they will have to be forced to shoot the door, announcing where they are to the def. Thermite can be used to get around this but if they don't have him or you get a lucky pick, your generally in good shape.
Tip: as Glaz if there is a trap door directly over the objective that is being defended, blow it open with a breach charge, step back, and throw a drone in. Spot the enemy and if the enemy is still in that spot for a while, carefully peak through the trap door and kill the enemy. Reminder: once after breaching the trap door wait a while to jump in ( that's what throwing the drone in and spotting the enemy is for)
Reinforcing a wall will often leave a sliver(Or on some walls large gaps) at the top of the reinforcement part. Which means you can shoot "Through" a reinforced wall by getting above it and shooting through the gap along the top. I've also thrown a grenade through the gap(Thanks Ash!) to take out electric thingies on the other side stopping our thermite. ~~
One the plane map it can be really useful to set deployable shields down and Frost's Welcome Mats behind them. Most people don't know how to get around it and most people don't even look and vault over the shield and get hit.
Tip:put a shield in a door way and put a bear trap behind it and when they jump over the shield they get bear trapped. PS They won't even see the bear trap
There is a way to pick what game types and maps you play you just go to the main page hit the start button go down the options and you'll find one that says game preferences or something I don't quite remember but it'll let you pick which maps and game types you want to play and don't want to play.
IQ is a beast. There have been countless times that i've saved teammates from entering rooms that are drowned in explosives. Nobody really uses her, so I run her half of the time. Also, she has the AUG that's pretty powerful and shoots extremely fast.
There are a few doorways where it is really hard too see kapkans laserwire so if you dont place a barricade on top of it the enemy will likely walk right trough. A good example is the doorway on bank with the red lights where it is abolutely impossible to see the laser.
How about utilizing the "Walk" ability? You make practically no noise, allowing you to hear people sprinting from almost two floors up when things are dead silent. Especially useful on staircases and in areas around the objective when you aren't sure where the enemy team is hiding out. Even the smallest movements can be heard if you listen close enough. Sound-whoring ftw.
Tip: place a frost trap down then have your friend take bandit using barbed wire and shock it over your trap so if someone is caught in it, they will be finished off by the shock wire

my friends and I do this, and it works nearly every time.
typically the only way we end up having to change tactics is if an enemy chooses sledge.(If this happens theres plenty of time to change tactics and defend the breached point before they enter Eliminate the enemy, Resecure point of breach, return to window defense.
Awesome tips! I've played 50 hours and never knew this stuff.
