Thank god you recognised Fennec, Holden. You can have your Star Wars card back. xD
He didnt though, Jen did....
Indication of wasted time
@@Saintphoenix86its okay. They can share the card, it’s like sharing your bank account with your spouse.
@@dibsdibs3495 Why do you refuse to give her the credit, she figured it out and holden didnt believe it till the name was said in the show, Jen even said the name a few times and holden still wasnt convinced
@@Saintphoenix86 I’m not taking credit away from her. I’m saying it’s okay that he didn’t know. What matters is she did know and since they love each other they can share their defense from the fandom menace.
I'm glad yall realized that was Fennec almost right away. Holden, you need to draw out a timeline for Jen so she can visually see the Star Wars timeline and hopefully understands it more lol
8:34 I see where your thoughts are coming from Jen, that Boba would still be a kid and Fennec a teenager. The point is: The actor of Fennec, Ming-Na Wen, was 58 years old when the Boba Fett show came out. (And Fennec in-universe therefore atleast amount the same age. Ming-Na Wen just looks way younger than she actually is.) And Boba Fett was in his show in his mid 40s. (In the Bad Batch-show Boba is 13 years old.)
Therefore the age difference between Fennec Shand and Boba Fett is a bit more than ten years. Which explains, why Fennec was at one point already an adult and Boba a teenager. That point in time just so happens to be when the Bad Batch-show takes place.
Cid is indeed voiced by Rhea Perlman, the mom from Matilda.
Danny Devitos wife. ..Cheers?
@@djsugarbear6715 Yes
According to other materials, the Ep6 rancor is actually a male named Pateesa. So unless they retcon it, Muchi is a different rancor
5:19 It‘s cute that the Bad Batch-show even added some Star Wars: Resistance references in with the dogs.
Is it worth a watch?
Fun Fact, Ming-Na just turned 60. So it would track for her to look virtually the same as she did in BoBF to here... since she's looks just as good as she was back on Mister Rodgers.
8:09 As Holden said: Boba Fett is still a child in the Bad Batch. (Barely 13 years old.) The Boba Fett-show takes place around 30 years after the Bad Batch-show in the timeline.
You got that so wrong
@@austinhassler7283 Why?
@austinhassler7283 how is he wrong? Around this time boba would be 13-14 years old and almost 30 years later would be book of boba fett
I'm glad you talked about how Omega isn't that typically-depicted rebellious kid. I noticed that as well when I first watched the series and it's something I appreciated from the writers. It made me like Omega more as well.
I don't know if you guys have noticed yet, but Hunter is literally Space Rambo.
Jennifer Corbett, the co-creator of the show was in the military & I think that her experience definitely adds to this show.
Crosshairs storyline only gets better! He's probably my favorite character.
16:45 Yeah Holden, everything in the scene is indicating that Muchi is the rancor from Episode 6. But … According to canon books, Jabbas Rancor was a male. Muchi is a female. Therefore Muchi can‘t be the same Rancor. But yeah, you can‘t know that unless you‘re very, very deep in the lore.
Minor point, but the fact that Wrecker pronounced it "cavalry" is so refreshing to hear. Most shows and movies pronounce it as "calvary". The first means what everyone intends it to; backup, soldiers on horseback, etc. Calvary is referring to Jesus' crucifixion or extreme suffering. Hollywood in general screws this up all the time, whether because people aren't aware of the description or just haven't seen it written out
A quick, general, basic timeline for reference:
Young Jedi cartoon
Phantom Menace
Jedi Temple Challenge
Attack of the Clones
Clone Wars cartoons
Revenge of the Sith
Bad Batch
Droids cartoon
Solo
Obi Wan
Andor
Rebels
Rogue One
A New Hope
Holiday Special
Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi
the Ewoks cartoon and movies
The Mandalorian seasons 1 and 2
The Book of Boba Fett
The Mandalorian season 3
Ahsoka
Resistance cartoon
The Force Awakens
The Last Jedi
Rise of Skywalker
Things like comics, novels, video games and episodes of anthology shows like Forces of Destiny, Visions and Tales of the Jedi are also scattered throughout.
Please please please release the rewatches onto UA-cam 🙏🏼🙏🏼
@holden my wife had trouble with the timeline too, I found that she got it best when she started thinking of them x years before the emperor died x years after, kind of cements it in order for her.
The first or the second time?
Crosshair's story gets SO, GOOD
"I'm so in love with you" "NO! I'm so in love with you!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
7:35 thats always been a topic. you have droids that follow orders 24/7 but droids that also have their own free will. it even goes into on can a droid have force powers since the force can be accessed to any SENTIENT being if they are willing to open themselves to it.
from star wars visions (might as well spoil it since odds you two watch it is pretty much zero) there is an episode where a droid is powered by a khyber crystal. due to that they gain control to the force and become a jedi. from comics there was a story of a clone trooper talking to a padawan mentioning if the force can be accessed to all sentient/living beings then could a clone have access it to? that brought up a debate for alot of ppl if it was possible.
Not really a spoiler, but in Ahsoka they reinforce what has already said by Obi Wan in episode 4 - the Force flows through everyone and everything. Some people are more Force sensitive and receptive to the Force, however it's not tied down to a limited group. It is difficult for non-Force sensitive people because they have to overcome self-doubt and "un-learn" what they believe are the rules of nature.
Love the reactions and am glad that you are doing this series.
I would recommend turning on your Closed Captioning when watching the show. I have found it to be a great help when watching
That's why droids usually have restraining bolts.
Rhea Perlman who played Matilda’s mom does play Sid here.
Ming Na Wen was in Marvel's Agents of Shield as well
I love that you guys are reacting to this! I enjoyed TBB so much!
Droids start out being simple AI processors that follow commands from their owners, but the longer they remain in operations the more free will and personality they gain, it's muich like having a Child of 5 at first and ending up with a teenager....
I feel like this show is where they managed to really bring together the world building of the Star War universe, so that all of the shows feels like its own piece interconnected in the same galaxy and the same larger events.
Bad batch, Mandalorian season I and II and Andor have been by far the best Disney Star Wars.
Moochi isnt the same Rancor but i made the same assumption. Odd that they wouldnt make that the same one.
Fennec looks the same as she does in Mandalorian because Ming Na Wen, the actress who plays her, looks the same as she did 20 years ago.
Bad Batch builds off a lot of previous Star Wars projects and serves as a good look at the galaxy just after the rise of the Empire which is a time that has been rarely explored so is rife with potential.
It would be cool to see the rewatch on UA-cam.
They better give Echo a hand in season 3
Boba Fett's actor was about 20 years older than the character was supposed to be.
Im excited for more bad batch videos tho i think you and jen should watch how to train your dragon
the rancor has not been confirmed nor denied being the same one in Jabba's palace. Only mention is in the latest Lego Star War game, in the game the rancor in jabbers palace is known as "Pateesa Muchi". Would make it kind of sad if it is actually the same one!
Has Jen ever seen Band of Brothers? I think it'd be extremely interesting seeing her perspective of it as an Army veteran
b0t R2-D2 have never been wiped, while most droids are wiped all the time, it is no wonder "he" is so much "smarter" than other droids
I get the impression droids get crabby and stubborn over long periods of time, and wiping them is the easiest way to keep them obedient.
Look if you guys are going to continue to watch this show, i wish you say these people's name right. Its "Hunta", "Tick", "Wrikka", "Icko", "Crossir" and "Omeega". 😂
Fennec would be about same age as Bo Katan. Boba Fett would be close to age of Omega. Give or take.
"NOW YOU'RE A MAN!! MA-YON MA-YON MAN!! NOW YOU'RE A MAN!! M-A-N MAN... YOU'RE A man-MAN MAYOOON... NOW YOU'RE A MAYUHH!!" 😂 Holden, you NEEEED to introduce Jen and I doubt a majority of your audience has even heard of THAT movie! 😎
About how Fennec is an audlt already after episode 3 while Boba still would be a teenager ,the actress who plays her in live action Ming-Na Wen (and she also voiced her here too) is 60 years old but you would never knew that by looking at her so maybe it is the same thing with Fennec
Young Fennec in The Bad Batch is Young Street Fighter Chun Li Ming-Na Wen
9:04 The first time I really have to say: No. I just don‘t really like the execution of Anakin and Padmés romance. (At least as far as the movies are concerned. In Clone Wars I liked their dynamic quite well. Although I‘m still more a fan of Leia and Han or Hera and Kanan …)
Cid reminds me of Berta from Two and a half men.
Berta was great in that
Wrecker really needs to stop running head first into the enemy. He keeps giving himself TBIs. He’s not really working with that many brain cells in the first place.
Mr. and Mrs.Hardman
I think this wish of mine is what everybody wants to see.
My Friends Watches Deadpool 3
with the whole OG Squad.
Jen, Jenna, Matt, Holden and the other two dudes who i forgot the names of but they still complete the OG squad (no offense we like all of you). ❤
Anyone notice Liam O’briens voice 👀
So excited to see you guys react to season 2. It has some of my favorite moments in it but also some of the absolute worst episodes.. so its a double edged sword
You both are so cute together
There is a Star Wars timeline on line for reference
this is between ep 3 and 4 of the movies

Did you guys not notice fennec shand straight away
Holden has lost two corners on his Star Wars card (Kanan and Fennec)
Muchi is a female Rancor. The Rancor Luke fought was male, named Patessa.
Until you get the Gonk Driod's classification right, You'll never get your Star Wars Card back.
Obi-wan never had a thing with Ventress, he DID have a thing with Satine
They flirted a LOT
@@ZoomerUnion Yes but flirting is not the same thing as having a thing, people flirt for many reasons
I can never tell if they're joking when they makes those comments or if they really think Kenobi had a thing with her
@@datoneguy436 I think Holden actually thinks something happened, meanwhile ignoring the fact obi-wan DID have something going on with satine we just dont know how far it went
Seems like you barely paid attention when watching Book of Boba Fett. Took you a while to recognise Fennec, and you make her out to be an insignificant character when she was one of the protagonists of BoBF. Second, you question if she and Boba had met before when there’s an entire episode of them meeting in BoBF post-Episode 6.
I’d rather see a whole series on jarjar binks than one more second with omega!
You look like hostages at the start of this video being made to read as positive of a message as you can muster about this.
Bad Batch? More like 'Dad Batch'
Plan 99 😭
God, episode 5 sucks. I remember having a super long day at work then coming home and watching it and it was just the biggest disappointment ever. I was also sick of waiting a week for every episode just to be a filler.
Do a yugioh reaction lol
Gotta keep in mind that Boba Fett is a clone and they tend to age faster
Boba and omega but age normally the actor is just old Looking and the lady looks young
It's been stated in canon that Boba was an unmodified clone, deliberately intended to grow up at a normal pace. That was part of Jango's contract with the Kaminoans.
@@donaldwatson7698It's literally stated in Attack of the Clones that Boba is an unaltered clone with no growth acceleration.
8:45 the side excuse would be the enhanced aging. but even then its a eh topic on his age.
Boba is an unaltered clone. No enhanced aging
