- So, I went to Bath to experience route U1 from Lower Oldfield Park to Bath University, the Bus Station to University section being identical to service U18 on OMSI 2 Cotterell Map by the amazing UKDT (UK Design Team). Enjoy the video.

Nice! Just wish we had an e400 mmc for Omsi. :D
There is an E400 by UKDT and an E500MMC by Winsome
Well we do now
Ethan Hunt it's based of Hong kong
We have one now. It’s called the Studio Polygon 400MMC. It’s worth buying it for just £13.50 on Steam
Your wish has come true. - Studio Polygon.
I think the AI shouldn't be using Gemini 2 they should be using wright eclipse instead to match
Omg, so wierd. It's exactly the same, I had no idea! xD Great video
Yes, apart from the fact that there’s no roundabout or junction with traffic lights at the top of the hill.
@@jameshunt1516 the university has changed a lot since 2017 too
Awesome video man!
Nice Great Find
That omsi map well done!
Lol look guys at the traffic light went off

No. It is green. But it is fitted with a filter box covering it. You just can’t see them at this angle.
wrightbus scania solar fusions are great vehicles
Looks so alike but in some places needs re doinng
Hmm....strange, all through the route I hardly saw nothing compared to Cotterell tbh the only thing I saw that looked the same was just the Tree and university...
What Name Music?
His own music

What is the song called? The one in the description isn't this version.
Why did UKTD called the map Cotterell and not Bath?
it was not a exact copy but a inspiration and it was a test map and also if they called it bath then people would think of whole of bath
Wow, that actually looks like it. Thanks for the Vid
So... they say cotterell is a fictional map! Well... it really is not! It is based off bath! This looks so much like the OMSI map
(I am aware you posted this comment a year ago but i wanted to respond anyway.)
the omsi 2 map is roughly based off a bath from the looks of it. it isn't exactly the same as it is in the game since they probably had to make some changes to the route. e.g reducing the steepness of the hill to adapt to omsi 2's physics engine and to reduce the chances of you getting stuck on the hill and end up having to cancel route.
@@Joshwoakes the hill in this doesn't look very steep compared to one on omsi
@VXR 2.0 I know. Like I said they probably couldn't make it 100% accurate and reduced the steepness of the hill to work with omsi 2's physics engine and other buses. If you play the map with certain buses you'll find that you end up struggling up the hill and just barely making it while with others you have no problem.
@@Joshwoakes I've heard that happens with the streetlite apparently it's a really sluggish bus in real so the developer tried to simulate that in omsi
I challenge a Streetlite to do a hill start on that hill
I love this video I play OMSI 2 as a UA-cam I think this is amazing video
This is one of your best videos so far. Is it possible to do 35 at any chance?
No routes are identical to the 35. There is one bus from Totnes to Paignton and it goes a completely different way (and goes Plymouth to Torquay). This is the only clone.
I saw 8-9 buses of U1 in real life operating? It's just a short route within 30mins one round so they created a frequency of 2-5mins? Would there be as such high passenger demand?
whats the name of the song in the background?
OMSI 3 confirmed?????
I’m been on one of those bendy buses. It was at the RIAT...
Also 5:10 there is no gradient, it's just a straight line. Vehicles must struggle up there, well I know they do, I did this bus route after X39
In snow it must be hell then.
@@jamtart606 I’m sure the roads would be gritted beforehand, or alternatively no services will run at all
are there any london underground/overground stations nearby?
Alexander Dennis Bus Studio about 150 miles away probably
londonbusexplorer wt stations is it?
Alexander Dennis Bus Studio Just get a GWR service from Paddington to Bath Spa. The M25 is not the edge of the universe
