The slut tries to make herself the victim, she got all the backlash and reprieve she deserves. She blew the president and did other things, then she paid the consequences. She didn’t fall in love, she fell into infatuation. She was stupid, she needs to suck it up accept the humiliation she deserved.

You were taken advantage of as a young girl or young women by the worst people ever. We wish you the best. I am so sorry for what you went through. All of us make mistakes we learn from it and move on. Of course you took the blame for it. While a jerk tried to look like it wasn't his fault. You were taken advantage of big time. Guess no one thinks too much of this guy. Every one knows he is a terrible person. You are wonderful and don't you forget that.

Not everyone 'knows' or thinks Bill Clinton is a terrible person. Those like yourself who do are entitled to their opinion. He made mistakes like everyone does. Perhaps your own life is unmarred by scandals and such but to speak with such sanctimonious smugness is unbecoming to say the least.

It's like some people meeting their favorite celebrity, shake hands and swear never to wash their hands again😲😁. They don't mean it in actuality, but they want to hold on to the memory. Fulljoy Alltime I don’t think she kept the dress as a trophy. As she has said on Linda Tripp’s recorded tapes , the dress was thrown in the bottom of her closet. Remember she was 22 years old when this started. An intern just out of college. Like my own daughter at that age does not run to the dry cleaners the next day after an event. A dirty dress will sit in the bottom of my daughters closet until she wants to wear it again, then it will get cleaned.

Association of Free People Oh, come on, she acknowledged her mistakes! She just wasn't there to talk about that part. It was a huge and very public story that can be told from various points of view. The fact that she chose to tell it as a public shaming story today doesn't mean she doesn't see other sides of it. It's a 25-min speech, not a novel, she can weave multiple themes together! You won't deny that there was a HUGE element of public shaming, right? I mean, she's a household name around the world, and not in a good way. She definitely was hit hard, much much harder than millions of other 22-year-olds who have affairs with married men, so she does have a unique perspective, and she's sharing it.

Having heard from Monica herself, am deeply filled with compassion for her. Am ashamed of myself and many who have casted stones at her while forgetting their own faults and hypocrisy. America with all her greatness is still grappling with the weakness of political intrigues mixed with hypocrisy. Monica was no little angel. She was flirting with the President every chance she could. He was the vulnerable one.
Now don't get me wrong, he certainly was no better. The scales of balance here are even. When Little Miss Muffat
became upset and jealous she is the one who brought the potential scandal to fruition. The then young lady had a
very Big Mouth. It was after a 'friend' provoked her. The results were more harmful to him than her. The fact that
she was playing with a situation that would eventually effect history was no concern to her. His fault as far as his
impeachment was that he could not handle his embarrassment to the press and the world. He was advised to
admit the incident, tell the truth and request sympathy. Instead he denied the incident. Later when admitting to the
affair and the fact his denial was false, this became the threshold that caused his impeachment. He lied to Congress!!
Monica did not think the affair she initiated was to have repercussions in her own life or that her initial flirtation would
ripple as gossip around the world. We can only second guess the mind of a younger miss, and perhaps her allowing
an unworthy friend know about the affair was a way of bragging at the time that she secured for the moment the
attention of a President. She did not see the repercussions her actions would take not only to herself but to her family,
friends and her own future. She still receives media attention from time to time not in a positive way. The balance
of her future was of her own selfish interests two-fold. First in perusing a married man and second by disclosing the
incident to insure his attention. To all ladies and gentlemen reading this, consider the consequences before you take
action on any situation that may have grave results. Repercussions are of your own doing. Secondly; Simply...SHUT UP!!

to stand by him. It provoked the song at the time; "Stand By Your Man" which was already on the musical charts.
Her backup to her husband gave Hillary center stage at the time cementing public opinion in her favor.
Both consenting parties are at fault pertaining to this topic which is now part of history. Moreover this was not a
situation that Bill Clinton initiated. He certainly did not dismiss the problem in the beginning but became the main
player. The point here is Miss Monica Lewinski got the attention she desired with no regard to the ramifications it
would cause, so did the president who merely added another trophy to his list. Not an innocent mistake by far but
certainly a mistake. This one changing history. The key point the gossip with ever remain.

Remember when the Pharisee and many people took a woman to Jesus and said to Him, Rabbi we found this woman having an affair with a man, they think Jesus will say to them, stone her, but into their surprise, Jesus said, who ever has no sin, throw the first stone, what happen? They all left without throwing a stone because they were all sinners........so the funny thing is....why prosecute only the woman, but not the man.

Maybe the identity of the man was not known. Maybe he escaped through a window as the husband entered the door and disappeared into the night without being identified. Maybe the woman protected his identity out of love for him or she feared reprisals against her family when she is gone.
You don't know these facts because the source, i.e. the Gospels did not provide the information. If the Bible is silent about it, then why would you simply just assume them and start some conspiracy theory to change the facts and the essense of the story? It is not about disparity in treatment or victimisation.....!
Maybe the woman didn't identify the male adulterer because it would have amounted to admission of guilt and be self incriminating against her.
And even if the woman did identify the man, then they could still not prosecute him because in terms of the Law of Moses, they needed two or three witnesses in order to convict him. And what was preventing the woman of accusing another man she hated (or owed money) in order to protect her lover's identity....?
The Law of Moses and Leviticus is clear on the subject......If a married woman lies with another man, then both of them should be stoned to death (if he knew she was married). There was no disparity in the Law or the execution thereof....!
Maybe it was difficult to prove the fact that the man knew she was married at the time.....!?
And for all you know, the man may already have been stoned to death already in a separate "trial" (even in a separate town) for all you know.
And if you remember that the Pharisees only brought the case before Jesus in order to entrap Him and make Him overrule Moses and "set aside" the Law in order to accuse Him.......; Maybe they thought that He would be more sympathetic to the woman if she was the lone accused thus increasing the chances of their scheme to succeed...!
IF the Bible is silent about it, then maybe we should be too...!

Eventually, she became the Secretary of State and was to become the Democrats first WOman President, twice...... So no Hillary did not lie, nor did she allow her husband drag her, but instead she stood tall and came out on top. Even though I may not like someone it does no mean that they may have some good in them, and that needs to be recognized by all.

Wow, people are so cruel and judgmental. I am not sure why Monica Lewinsky cares about people's opinion when people judge her very harshly no matter what she does! People should turn the page; it was years ago!! The person who was the most affected forgave her; why would people continue to judge her. Monica should just live her life and not care about people's opinion.

    • @ks29earl
      @ks29earl 9 років тому +1

WHY? Really? Because SHE put it out there and is CHANGING the narrative to her favor. Idk about you, but I dont know many 22 yr olds that would have done the stupid thing she did. And continue to do it until they were caught. Perhaps not to you, but adultery is serious and violating someone else marriage over and over and over again is very serious. And really? You have heard Hillary say she forgave her? You have heard Chelsea say she forgave her? Ignorant. You can forgive the sin if the person repents and does that act no more, but when THEY bring it up decades later and changes part of the scenario to favor her, then SHE(or they) opens the floodgates. She reaps what she sows.

mariawoz57 Finally, somebody with a brain and compassion made a non-judgmental comment. You are right. It has affected her life and it seems like Monica has not been able to resolve it for herself. That's why she is talking about it. She was only 22 years old and made mistakes with a man twice her age! Why is it that women have to be always blamed? I just think 'Youth' make mistakes due to lack of life experiences. She was a 22 year old girl with emotions and made mistakes. Should people rob her from having a normal life with their harsh comments? I find that cruel and inhumane. I don't have any respect for judgmental gossip-loving people who make themselves feel good by bashing others. However, I found your comment very true and compassionate and I wish there were more objective people like you on this earth.
