When I get my Royal Enfield Classic this will be a must have! I’m sorry to hear you had a fall and injured your back. I had a fall and broke my right hip in 5 places. I also broke my right femur. That was on October 10 and I’m just starting to heal. Im in rehab and I think I’ll fully recover ...... eventually.
The Parcel Rack is awesome, I could have used it on a few of my trips. Thank you for your concern and of course, for watching. I know to well the effects of a hip injury. I broke my femoral neck, fractured my right femur, both knees and both shins. I try to keep it out of camera view, but I usually walk with a cane. I hope you recover soon and whole. -Madd Man
Really appreciate your videos on your Royal Enfield. I put a deposit down on the same bike a couple of days ago based on how good yours looks. I understand that RE has discontinued the 500 classic, which makes me wonder about availability of service/repair parts and I would like to know what your thoughts are on getting parts in the future. Again, the videos.
@@BradTheMaddMan OMG! We are supposed to finish the deal in a couple of days, but I have been having some doubts. Please let me know a bit more if possible because I don't want to make a huge mistake.
Ive heard these things referred to as testicle removers. Because if the bike stops in a hurry and you keep going the human testicle is forced under the rack and stops the rest i think you understand.
Sorry to hear about your injury. Take time to heal. A question non related to this video but I respect your insight into these things. Why would it not be a good idea to use rubber mounts where the engine becomes part of the frame? Would this not dampen some of the vibration? A simpleton question but I'm curious.. Thanks in advance.
Excellent question. Well, it isn't that it's not a good idea. It's more of a functionality issue to be honest. When you have a single cradle frame in which the engine is an integral part of the frame, there really isn't a way to add a rubberized bushing or buffered mount. If there were rubber mounts or dampers between the mounting points of the engine and the frame, there would be far too much play/slop in the mounts, causing unwanted and honestly dangerous wobble/wiggle in the engine while running. -Madd Man
A good product but how do you remove it without damaging paint? I can't see how you release the suction easily and wouldn't want to be sliding a knife under the cups. I have 3 bikes which this would fit and would like to be able to move it from one to another when I need to mount something on the tank.
Looks great! I have the same one on my triumph and it looks and works a treat. Looks great on your enfield!
Thanks, I'm sure it looks great on almost any bike. Madd Man
How long does the suction cups do the perfect work..?

nice profile on the bike around the 8 minute mark-bet it would look good on an interceptor too!
Oh yeah, the profile looks great and I'm sure it would look very smart on the Interceptor. -Madd Man
Hi Warro, there is a picture of it on an Interceptor on the Motone link
will take a look.thanks

Well, this rack is not a permanent fixture. The suction cups will give first. -Madd Man

Just loosen the thumb nuts and lift the edge of the suction cups. -Madd Man
Love your bike! What kind of mpg do you average at highway speeds?
I get around 68 mile per gallon on average. -Madd Man
All you need is a fireball performance kit.
I've thought about it. -Madd Man

If can get my hands on a clean RE that needs a engine I definitely put one on. And I would bobb it out.
Keep me updated if you find one, I'd love to see the how it turns out. -Madd Man
