@Muslimtravelgirl It was 12.5 SAR from Medina airport just for in case anyone wants to know the current price. Also strangely they let 500ml bottles go through hand luggage, this was before fajr time so not sure if they were just tired, there were signs that say no liquid over 100ml but they didnt say anything about it and let bottles 500ml go through my hand luggage.
Hi. Wanted to give some additional info regarding Umrah from Masjid Aisha i.e. entering Ihram from here. Starting your Ihram from here is only valid for local people and not a traveller. One who is still shortening their prayers as a traveller cannot enter Ihram from this Masjid. The nearest meeqat point is Taif which costs about 200 SAR round trip in a taxi. Depending on your school of thought, you become a local and can no longer offer shortened prayers at different intervals e.g. for hanafi its 14 or 15 days. For others, its 3 days I think. Please check for yourself and do your own research. Many outside visitors mistakenly do their second Umrah from here. I was told this until I looked into this myself.
@TheTravelTipsGuy Salaam this is incorrect. I am also Hanafi and once you complete your first Umrah you are able to put ihram on at Masjid Aisha for a second. Please check your information again because it may mislead people.
@@Anonymous-im4xi You may be correct. I can't find where I read this previously but it stated that Masjid Aisha was only valid for Makkah residents. With conflicting advice, it is better to err on the side of caution which is what I did by going to Taif. After all, the journey to Taif is only about an hour away and relatively cheap. At least that way in my mind, I was sure that the second Umrah is valid from the meeqat point at Taif. It is best you research it and come to your own conclusion whatever that may be.
1. How to get permission from authority for 2nd umrah in a single trip? Does it have any additional cost? 2. Do you have to trim your hair each time after Sa'ai or at the end of performing all the additional umrahs?
I am going for Umrah this week In sha Allah. Your videos have helped me a lot!
Jazakallah khair. Your videos inspired me to bite the bullet and am due to go with my wife in 2 weeks time, also planning to do this inshallah.
