@@shellywatson8653 I think you misinterpreted what Persis said. Narcissistic abuse isn’t really something you can simply learn about from a text book. Often times it takes an individual to be in a relationship, (whether it be friendship, family or love interest) to fully grasp the level of destruction a narcissist can have on one’s psyche. I was married to a covert narcissist for 18 years. It took me 4 years to figure out that the issue was him and not me, though for years he had convince me otherwise.

Jack is Jack. Always has been and always will be. He's charming, dapper and debonair. He exudes confidence and an otherworldly enchantment. He hails from the older generations of set roles and that certainly flies in the face of many fragile people. I adore him and his catalog of work. But he's not marriage material. Kind of like a wild stallion. Beautiful and magnificent to behold but what kind of monster wants to break it in? To attempt to destroy the wild spirit of such a powerful being? Jack shouldn't be tamed either. Lol! I like his being who he is and not bowing down to convention. As for Lara? I love Lara Flynn Boyle... I remember these days..... I Love his character in Threesome (1994)... Twin Peaks... The Practice.... Every movie. And HUFF... Great series with Hank Azzaria and she is great there.
