I applied for borrowers defense to repayment in december of 16. Got and email saying they were looking into it in june 2017. I just called dept of edu to check status (July 2019) and was told it was still under review and is a lengthy process and can take 3 years. Approaching the 3 year mark. Hopefully the 90,000 i owe for a degree i dont even use is forgiven. went to school from 2004 to 2010

I always had a feeling that something was wrong about that school, since I was in middle school.
simply try to Follow The Money to know Who Eventually Benefits And How
I would not hire anyone who graduated or even went to for-profit schools because it shows that they're too dumb to get into conventional not-for-profit schools especially when there are thousands of open-admission community colleges they could've gone for a fraction of the cost. There are consequences for stupidity. It's hard for me to have any sympathy for them.
