@@anjalibaruah9717 omg😭 no siaa is a nickname, not my real name. my real name is Asiya. now you know how it would be difficult to say it. “Asiya-Eya”. so like… Asiyaeya… it would be so awkward to say, like im saying “ya” two times. that’s what i was wondering if there was an exception for someone has already has an “ya” at the end of their name.
@@siaahale13 Well it doesn't sound weird to me, there are so many people from Korea whose names end with "Ya", so I don't think it sounds weird to them and they're used to it❤️ don't worry, yours sounds good too💜 sarangheyo 💜
No, it is not the correct way to say it, you are mixing the casual and respectful version, if you say "Annyeong haseyo" do not add "nae ereumeun" because it is not correct "jae ereumeun" is correct. if you only say "Annyeong" then you can add "nae ereumeun", although it is complicated, but once you understand it, it will be easier for you🙂👍 keep learning
There are multiple ways to say "My name is Fiona" in Korean, so it is possible to get multiple answers. Just like "I'm Fiona", "My name is Fiona", "I am Fiona" all have the same meaning in english.
They both have identical sound. Both 제 and 내 are words that already exist in Korean, and then English pronunciation is simply given to assist your reading. It is not true that "ae" is given first, and we can decide when to use ㅔ or ㅐ.
No because nae and jae mean “my” and jeoneun and naneun mean “I”. The Jeo and Na mean “I” and the “eun” is a particle that must ve attached to the first part of the word. 나는 (naneun) > 는 is the particle (eun) and 저는 (jeoneun) > 는 is the particle.
If your name ends with a vowel, you should say "Eya" rather than "ya" after the name (both have exactly the same meaning, but that is just how the Korean grammer works).
The Korean language sounds so beautiful, I’d love to learn it one day!
