  • We got up very early in the morning to take a bus from Wrocław to Poznań. We were running a little late, but ended up making our bus with time to spare!
But traveling to Poznań ended up being the easy part! When we arrived in Poznań, our Airbnb wasn't ready yet so we lugged our suitcases and backpacks around town exploring the city. We even tried some delicious food 😍
Watch to find out our first impressions of Poznań, Poland!
SPOILER ALERT: We love it :)
Thanks so much for watching! Don’t forget to like and subscribe.

4 weeks ago I was walking exactly same streets in Poznan :) It's awsome city and I don't even mention that trying Polish food and pastries should be "must do" on anyones list of things to do in a lifetime :) Thank you for your videos. It's a pleasure to watch you exploring Poland and makes me want to come back there. It's one of those countries in which one should not be so sure that what was eaten is the best - can be something better just behind the corner :)

I think vegetarian/vegan restaurants are worth to try in Poznań, there are a lot of new places.
If you want to try sth really Poznań-ish, try a duck with sth callled pyzy. It’s a typical dish from this region. Also pierogis with duck meat. On the dessert side, rogale swietomarcinskie, it’s the most famous “croissant”.
A few years ago “A nóż widelec” was the best restaurant with polish cuisine. I haven’t tried it since then, so I can’t say how good is now, but if I were you, I would try.

Breakfast in Poland the best meal? That's funny! You'll probably change your mind at least twice the sane day. Every day. For a month. Cause it takes at least a week to discover the REALLY good stuff, like meat pierogi fried in bacon crisps, with aged tomato/onion salad and a buttermilk beverage. I'll bet you get some strange looks from people when you tell them to go to Poznan, Poland for some great Pho!

    • @mateusz1578

@@gregherman3816 the only way this would work as literally : poznań : is if the word 'poznać' which means 'to meet' or 'to get to know' would be declined to the accusative form. Example - Było niezręcznie w trakcie poznań / it was awkward during introductions. And it still barely works as it seems very forced, nobody would say 'poznań' in this context, or any other that I could think of. (edit) so, 'poznań' doesn't have its own meaning in the polish language, in a sense that it doesn't exist in the infinitive case, except as a name of a city.

Why does everyone choose large cities that are more westerly, of which there are only a few in Poland, and eat westerly "Polish dishes" instead of choosing smaller cities that are Polish to pain? Poznań is post-German, Warsaw is demolished and rebuilt so it is only a few dozen years old and Krakow is overrated. Try Ostrowiec Świetokrzyski - older than the USA, Świetokrzyskie Mountains the oldest in Europe, Krzemionki from the stone age... you don't see anything you hear nothing if you go to a place where Poles do not go because there is no climate, peace or time to think and where prices are from the highest shelves. You might as well not leave the airport

Please stop saying PIEROGIS! PIEROGIS does not exist. Lesson: 1 is PIERÓG
    2,3,4,100,10000 etc are PIEROGI.
    Thanks 😁

It’s Poznan guys, not “Pose”nan. At least get the pronunciation right. Apart from that I liked your vid.

Poland didn't start in Poznań and it wasn't important im the begining at all. Important was Gniezno and then Kraków

Bogdan Bębenek nope. It’s difficult to day where exactly but historians agree that it wasn’t Gniezno and Poznań is the most likely (please read the newest academic articles about it, not internet)

And the part about it wasn’t important I won’t even comment...

Fake response to a fake question. You have no idea how it is to live in Poland or how the food tastes like. All You did = a lot of arguing amongst poles.
You ought to go to the countryside, skipping all towns and urban areas above 20k citizens. Then You'd maybe undestood without prostituting yourselves in the media :)
Better yet.. a challenge: average nat salary in rural area, after deductions for bills: car, fuel, heating, garbage, water, heat et cetera. Then You'll be able to judge, dear citizens of USoA. PS. You're not "Americans". Only and true Americans live in reservations. I do not wish you ill. I wish you justice.
Thumbs down, morale down. Why the heck do we let them into Poland without visas?
