When I was small and when I used to see those pads ads....I used to think that these were diapers kind of thing...and I thought that y would big girls need diapers???😂😂😂
When I had my first period I was 12 years old. I wasn't told about it by my family but somehow knew this through the teachers and friends, thanks to them! I mean I don't know why parents don't aware their children about periods untill they have them, I mean girls have the right to be mentally prepared about it before they get their first period! I still remember that when I knew about it through the teachers and talked about it with my mother and older siblings they just scolded me and got angry upon me! I still don't understand the reason behind that behaviour and will never do this to my children in the future!
I got my periods when I was at 7 standard and I took 1 week leave and everyone kept asking me that why I took leave and some students who got their periods asked me whether I got my first period. Oh gosh , that all questions I can even hear now .😂😂😂
i got my first period when i was in class 8. my mother used to say 'tum puja ni kr sakti..achaar ko touch ni kr skti and so on' nd i was so upset that my mother being an independent women believes in it. pickles are my fav. so 2 months ago..on my second day of period i made 'muli ka achaar' nd it turned out to be tasty everyone appreciated me then i told mma that i made it in my period days nd now she has partially changed she don't make me follow myths anymore I m happy about it😊😊
As a muslim ALLHAMDULLILAH there is no such things in our religion "ISLAM" although we can't pray or wudu nor we can touch the Qur'an but we can touch literally anything and live like regular days I'm so thankful to ALLAH that I was born in an educated muslim family (^^)

I was in 5th when I got my first period! Quite early it was.My Mom had explained me about it but still understanding and experiencing are different. I even had my exams.But Due to Mom's support I wrote my exams and got the top grades!😊Gradually,I understood that It is normal for girls to have periods and now I am proud to menstruate!🤗🤗🤗

I kinda knew about periods because our family has this kinda ritual tht when a girl or woman used to get her periods she is not allowed to touch anyone on her first day n were confined to a room which was designated for this purpose only n next two days she is not allowed to enter the kitchen.. N when mamma used to get her periods me n ma father used to do all the household work since ma sister got married..n ma father is lazy AF so u can say I have to all the work ..making dinner for family.. Washing the utensils..BTW m not in support of such rituals but It started out as means to get rest during those days.. Because they had a lot of responsibilities and hard work. So they needed rest and this was the only time they used to get. This practice somehow started and followed generation after.. generation .. I think it is really stupid that menstruation is considered a "taboo" in India by some people. I mean it is as natural as any other body function!

When I had my first period the day before it .. I just meet an accident and its hurts me at my ass .. And next morning I saw blood stains and I thought I'll die and doesn't tell anyone and the whole day I'm just waiting the time of my death ... As my mom is a pilot .. When she came at night .... My dad told her what happened to me at whole day .. And she just wake me up and ask me to go to washroom and I was like. *nhi ab mai mr jaogi mujhe nhi Jana* she took me and told me every thing about it and said *tension mat le mare GI nhi tuh* 🙋

I got my periods now in 7th std like last year in October 2017 .. I had gone for my tution classes and I was having really bad pain in my lower stomach😫.... Thankfully I had worn a complete black pant so there was no stain seen 😌... Even after going home I did not go to the washroom for like 2 hours😪 and then finally I had to pee so I went and I see this super duper red stain on my panty 😨and even though I knew about periods I kinda freeked out😵 .. I called my mom and she tells me that I got my periods and even before giving my pad she has to go to my dad to tell him😒 ... Then my dad's all like my baby's all grown up now!! And I'm like.😕.. I took an off of school the next day cause I really couldn't bare that baaaad and like new paaaaiiinnn!😭 And then I just got used to it .. and then I really got the realisation that omg I am a big girl now and now I am having my periods😏 .... igot my periods on 14 th feb 2017 its recently itsabove a year when I was small my store use to be near my house so my mom usedto send to buyan pad n I still remembered that I didn't know what a pad was so I dint know what pronounce it so I use to remember stayfree pad as tho an answer

Well, I am in 7th grade and I got my period at the end of my 6th grade's final exam. I was at home due to the lockdown, of course.... I went to the washroom to pee and I saw a big stain on my underwear. I knew about it already because my mom is a gynecologist and she had educated about it to me earlier. I was so excited to see that stain and I thought like finally..... Then I just ran to my mom and told her that there is a stain on my underwear. She smiled and said ''You have got your periods. I'll give you a pad." She got me a pad and taught me how to use it. And today (14th September 2020) I got my period 4th or 5th time, I suppose. I get to do everything during my period days except, praying to God. That too because my grandmother doesn't allow it. Otherwise my mum is against all these stupid customs....... Well, this is the story of my first period.....☺☺

my periods story my mom said me to wakeup in the morning i say her i don't want to go to school she said why i said my headache is thier she said me okk then i go to sleep and after 3 hours i wokeup went to washroom and resize its bleeding i wait for 1 hour and dont told to anyone after that i say it to my nani and she just put the pad but my nani don't know how to put a pad so she put it in a rong way and at night when my mom came from her job she explained me about periods and put pad in right way and that time i dont went for 4 days to my school due to my periods.😀😀😀😀

I kinda knew about periods because our family has this kinda ritual tht when a girl or woman used to get her periods she is not allowed to touch anyone on her first day n were confined to a room which was designated for this purpose only n next two days she is not allowed to enter the kitchen.. N when mamma used to get her periods me n ma father used to do all the household work since ma sister got married..n ma father is lazy AF so u can say I have to all the work ..making dinner for family.. Washing the utensils..BTW m not in support of such rituals but It started out as means to get rest during those days.. Because they had a lot of responsibilities and hard work. So they needed rest and this was the only time they used to get. This practice somehow started and followed generation after.. generation .. I think it is really stupid that menstruation is considered a "taboo" in India by some people. I mean it is as natural as any other body function!

When I had my first period the day before it .. I just meet an accident and its hurts me at my ass .. And next morning I saw blood stains and I thought I'll die and doesn't tell anyone and the whole day I'm just waiting the time of my death ... As my mom is a pilot .. When she came at night .... My dad told her what happened to me at whole day .. And she just wake me up and ask me to go to washroom and I was like. *nhi ab mai mr jaogi mujhe nhi Jana* she took me and told me every thing about it and said *tension mat le mare GI nhi tuh* 🙋

I got my first periods like a few months ago.... Maybe 4 months ago. I came from school and after some time i went to washroom to pee and i found blood on my pantie. So, i told my mom about this and i was very scared that what is this? Then my mom told me everything about periods and then in my first periods, i felt very disappointed, sad and tired.

I got it in 4th grade and I was clueless about this topic . I just remember crying really hard and confronting my mom that " I am dying", "blood is not stopping" and I even told her that I have blood cancer, so can I be saved . 😂😂

Nice video...i really loved this one..so openly they told about there stories...😊....well, talking about mine...i was in 7th when i got my periods & i was way too excited to tell about this to my mom...she was in office & i was back at my home..chilling down on my laptop watching silly videos...suddenly i felt sth different down there & went to the washroom & the got to know what actually happened...so i called her up & told what happened to me..& the most funny part was she informed me how to use pad..from her office on the call...😂😂..so it was a bit difficult.

I got my periods now in 7th std like last year in October 2017 .. I had gone for my tution classes and I was having really bad pain in my lower stomach😫.... Thankfully I had worn a complete black pant so there was no stain seen 😌... Even after going home I did not go to the washroom for like 2 hours😪 and then finally I had to pee so I went and I see this super duper red stain on my panty 😨and even though I knew about periods I kinda freeked out😵 .. I called my mom and she tells me that I got my periods and even before giving my pad she has to go to my dad to tell him😒 ... Then my dad's all like my baby's all grown up now!! And I'm like.😕.. I took an off of school the next day cause I really couldn't bare that baaaad and like new paaaaiiinnn!😭 And then I just got used to it .. and then I really got the realisation that omg I am a big girl now and now I am having my periods😏 .... And I kind of did a victory dance 😂..... I'm proud to be a girl ❤

Well, I am in 7th grade and I got my period at the end of my 6th grade's final exam. I was at home due to the lockdown, of course....
I went to the washroom to pee and I saw a big stain on my underwear. I knew about it already because my mom is a gynecologist and she had educated about it to me earlier. I was so excited to see that stain and I thought like finally..... Then I just ran to my mom and told her that there is a stain on my underwear. She smiled and said ''You have got your periods. I'll give you a pad." She got me a pad and taught me how to use it.
And today (14th September 2020) I got my period 4th or 5th time, I suppose.
I get to do everything during my period days except, praying to God. That too because my grandmother doesn't allow it. Otherwise my mum is against all these stupid customs.......

I attended a workshop on periods in class 5 and after watching that I got fever ... But I got my period in 8 th class
I had my first period when I was in class 3.I knew about it but not much.I wasn't at all understanding what was happening.I informed my mom then she explained everything about it - when it comes ....I am happy I don't suffer from crams and pain ,even my mother and elder sister don't suffer from pain but my mother sometimes suffers from crams.when I got my first period ,it literally stayed for whole 11 days
I was really relieved when it was gone .& one thing.I'm happy that pop.xo daily team are free to talk about these things.I feel no formalities about these things becoz this is the fact and truth .

my mom said me to wakeup in the morning i say her i don't want to go to school she said why i said my headache is thier she said me okk then i go to sleep and after 3 hours i wokeup went to washroom and resize its bleeding i wait for 1 hour and dont told to anyone after that i say it to my nani and she just put the pad but my nani don't know how to put a pad so she put it in a rong way and at night when my mom came from her job she explained me about periods and put pad in right way and that time i dont went for 4 days to my school due to my periods.😀😀😀😀
