My favorite human being of all time. I've loved her almost all of my life--ever since I was conscious of the world--and I respect and admire her tremendously. Every time I see her, I smile.
Just got back into Murder, She Wrote. I have all the DVDs and my grandmother and I decided to start watching them again. All the episodes with Len Cariou are great - what great chemistry between them. Angela is the epitome of the perfect career and how to be a movie star. Didn’t let fame get to her, friendly person, hard worker, and professional always. All she needed was talent. Unlike many today where social media, good looks, or a celeb feud get u to the “A List.”
My childhood memories are filled with Angie Lansbury.. I watched “Bed-knobs & Broomsticks” so many times I’m shocked the VHS tape didn’t melt and all the “Murder She Wrote” episodes, laying on the bed with my Gramma who was sick and dying of cancer. Angela always felt like a kind of grandma to me too 💖
I don't think he did it because of class. He changed most of the questions around, and I thought it was annoying. It's like putting words in another person's mouth.
Flew to NY twice to specifically see her in B Spirit and Night Music. Wonderful. On one of those occasions she had attended another play (Dame Edna) and post show I ended up passing her in a hallway after the audience left. I so wanted to say hello but it was her private time and very late. We smiled at each other and I think it meant “thank you” for the quiet. It was still an honor see her. Just saw her as the Balloon Lady. What a wonderful scene. Cheers to you Angela!
I just love Angela Lansbury, I think she is wonderful. I love her in Muder She Wrote, it's one of my favourite all time shows. I watched it when I was a young teen and I,m still watching it when it's on tv
Worked hard since the 1940s and still going strong. Probably the longest surviving star living today. I admire her acting talent in those early movies and her singing talent in musicals.
I Love, Love, Love Dame Lansbury. One of my favorite actresses of all time. Murder She Wrote and The Golden Girls are this black girls favorite shows of all time.
She has never lost the role of Lady. My word, that woman can play any part and make it hers. I saw her and James Earl Jones in a stripped down version of Driving Miss Daisy. Two of my very favorite people in the world.
It's so hard to believe she's in her 90's here (she doesn't look it)! Her cameo in MARY POPPINS RETURNS was delightful. Two of my favorite Angela Lansbury movies are THE HARVEY GIRLS and DEATH ON THE NILE.
Angela you're beautiful and I love you!!! 🥰😍😘 I love all of your work anything to do with you makes me so 😀 happy! You are so interesting and talented! You're a great role model, and I have enjoyed watching all my life thank you for everything you do and have done! 😘😍🥰
Dame Angela! You don't have a favorite Murder She Wrote episode? My favorite is the Jonathan Martin episode, "If it's Thursday it must be Beverly." Love this Dame!!
Yes, Grady's wedding episode was a very good one. Wasn't it great to see Gale Storm? And Betsy Palmer, too. I do remember when the wedding vows have ended and they are pronounced man and wife, and the final screen shot of Jessica... eyes lifted to heaven in thanks ... and I have always loved Grady and Donna.
Angela was good in The Harvey Girls with Judy Garland but her character as Em, I think I have that name right was a hard character & wasn't nice to Judy's. I also liked her in The Mirror Crack'd with Elizabeth Taylor, once more. Angela played the Miss Marple character & she was quite good. Almost met her when she was doing Driving Miss Daisy but I waited at the back of the theatre & she entered via the front. I was upset I didn't get to speak with her but the play was good.
I'm trying desperately to get my short stories in order that I wrote specifically for her to play the lead...could be sold as a movie...Hallmark/ Lifetime or even a series....I need to hurry before she's no longer acting...ps Bette White would be her costar...
he doesn't let her finisjh before he jumps in with something not related to the moment. she's talking about sinatra,he moves quickly to garland. stop it. larry!!!!
My favorite human being of all time. I've loved her almost all of my life--ever since I was conscious of the world--and I respect and admire her tremendously. Every time I see her, I smile.
I am 67 years old and I am moved to see and hear this magnificent lady.
Nice! I love Angela too! She’s so... comforting
Amen to that!
Prachtactrice

She looks so good for being over 90s
I hope she keeps looking as best she can and hope she still acts and lives to be over 100 and healthy
The most talented and unaffected actor the world has ever known. Truly a wonderful woman.
She's a literal angel.
Yet another misuse of the word "literal". My other pet hates are "awesome" and "super" - such sloppy use of language.
@@mikelheron20 Super! Isn't that literally Awesome?
She is my idol. A gracious, beautiful, clever, hardworking woman. I just love her so much.

@@SweetieTheBot he was just paraphrasing a little
@@cwillism No, it's wrong.
What lovely lady and such a great actress.
I don’t know if Larry did that on purpose of skipping the part that said ‘at your age’. If he did he is a true gentleman. 👏🏽

The Grand Dame 🦫 acting, musicals, and of course 12 seasons on tv!
She also has a beautiful singing voice. In Gaslight was the first time I heard her sing. What a life Dame Lansbury is living.

Most extraordinary LADY of the Theatre!!! Thank you Angela!!!

This lady has given me wonderful entertainment pleasure for many decades. Absolutely love this lady.
She is such a wonderful talent. She reminds me of my mother in so many ways and that is the best compliment that I can ever give another human being
She's so iconic

Very very funny episode 🤣
Another funny episode that was quite funny was Grady"s wedding.
My favorite episode was Lovers and Other Killlers during the First Season.

she did it for 12 years, i'm sure episodes just blur together at some point.
MediaLover194 .... I was being facetious.....

I'm happy to see Paul McCartney so well with Larry King!! 💙💙
I'm kidding, just craig ferguson fans will understand, *but*
she's legend, lovely 💙
Hahahahahaha
R.I.P Angela and Larry
Amazing; love this lady!!!
My favourite ep of MSW was the one with Jean Simmons. These two old chums were brilliant together.
I would like to hold her hends just for a minute. She is a great and generous person. 🌷
I love Angela ❤️
BTW, she’d also worked with Frank Sinatra in Till the Clouds Roll By (1946)
Still not over her smile ❤ find it interesting how she's not into revealing much about who she is underneath her roles
Sei mitica!! Ovunque tu sia 🙏
I love her Angila is one of my favorite actors
❤❤❤ Angela
Großartige Schauspielerin 👍👏👏👏
We miss you, Lary King.

One old dear has worn much better than the other one!
MISS ANGELA, I AM A HUGE FAN OF YOURS!!
Please live forever
Drop the full interview Larry. Don't be stingy.
I would've loved it if she reprised her role as Mrs Potts in the live-action Beauty And The Beast film.
I LOVE this woman & I don’t care who knows it 😏
She was Bafta nominated for Manchurian Candidate. Brilliant.
She's so cute
RIP Larry
I saw the 80s revival of Mame on Broadway.
The Hollywood stars of old have such fascinating stories to tell. I always hate it when an interviewer interrupts them or tries to talk over them
she was funny in blue Howiiii with ELVIS PRESLEY

I wish he'd let them finish their answers before he tries to pre-empt what they are going to say
How can she say that she is an 'empty vessel'? With her long and successful acting career and a very interesting life?
Why does Larry talk like his cheeks are filling up most of his mouth? He sounds like Zoidberg from Futurama
he doesn't let her finisjh before he jumps in with something not related to the moment. she's talking about sinatra,he moves quickly to garland. stop it. larry!!!!
Shut up Larry. Let her talk.
That mug sitting by her elbow is making me nervous.
