I've seen others install this exhaust and the welds didn't look very good, especially for the cost. Have they done anything to improve the quality of their welds? It might be picky, but good welds are often a great indicator as to the overall quality of the product.
Out of all the exhaust videos out there, why does no one mention pissing off the neighbors every day? I get it, I had a full Invidia cat-back and Cobb DP on my STI. Wasn't the race version either. Still shook the windows everywhere I went...at idle. I was just now pondering doing the FL5 exhaust valve fuse thing so it stays open all the time and am reluctant just so I don't rumble by my neighbors, even though it will sound slightly better admittedly. But most exhaust videos are like "hell yeah, got straight race pipes in my condo complex, better let 'er idle at 5am to to warm it up." Weekend track use is one thing, but that's not the norm. It's Ricky street-only guys hell-bent on a loud exhaust without the accompanying typical power mods (yeah, I heard in the video the 14 WHP just from this exhaust with no tune. Is that even safe without a tune or accompanying mods? And who only adds a 2k exhaust?...for 14 HP?) No one. Better off leaving it stock and doing an ECU tune if one-off power is what you want. And the naming convention is a bit much. Touring my ass if all your house glass is reverberating when idling beside it. I watched some crackle and pop tune video earlier today or whatever it's called. Ridiculously loud. I'm not quite ready to yell at the kids to get off my lawn, but any mod turning your car exhaust into chainsaw-level decibels seems a bit unneighborly.
Yeah, I don't understand why so many of these *street car* exhausts are racecar-like loud?! A lot of them are essentially built like racing exhausts, so it is no surprise they are loud like racing car exhausts... Perfect for a race or track car, but something like the stock Integra Type S exhaust is way more appropriate for a road car IMO.
The welding and finish is honestly the worst I've ever seen from a performance manufacturer. Especially at this price point. The pipes look like they're from a hardware and the weld spatter on the barrels are horrendous. And these take three months to build? I work for a performance shop and a customer ordered this for his Type R and I was amazed at how poorly constructed these were. I like your videos Jason but this is misleading to any potential buyer. Something like this would never leave a Japanese shop
your a little dumb for even commenting this. This channel is called Hondaprojason lol. Tesla has no character like a Type R and its about the driving experience. Plus honda has so much racing history.
I agree . I own a civic si. FWD sucks, can't drift and then there's the torgue steer

No jason..their are plenty of exhaust system that are better sounding..that this one....i understanding you're trying to push this exhaust because?😅😅😅😅😅😅
Love my touring exhaust. AWE nailed it. Thanks Jason, Sara, and team 🔥

@@cjsnylons welds look great on mine. Their lifetime warranty has me at ease about any quality related issues.
@@FreshFL5 Great, thanks for the feedback.
Jason, you look tired buddy. Don’t forget to take care of yourself of yourself.
😮👍🏼👍🏼 In the beginning sounds like Paul Walker fast in furious with the eclipse
I knew I wasn’t the only one
Love the content, excited for my AWE touring to show up this month.
Thank You so much
AWE is one of the best
Sounds and looks great! Very Cool.
Thanks for listening
Waiting on my order patiently, FL5 Touring.
great content as always!

Man I am a huge fan of you Honda Pro Jason and my dream car is a Honda Civic FD from 2013 all the best Honda Pro Jason
sounds awesome 😎!!!!
i agree! Thank You
@@HondaProJason welcome
i have an awe track exhaust coming soon
I wish I could afford a type r lol. It sounds great tho
👍👍
Is the PRL front pipe going to be compatible with this exhaust?
LHT Performance just uploaded an install and impression video for this exhaust on their channel.
Is the rear valve deleted in your exhaust systems ?
Can you please make a version that only has 2 exhaust tips/pipes. IMO the 3 exhaust pipes is just "extra" and to me out of place on this car
.

Cool to check out the building of AWE and exhaust sounded awesome! I wonder why didn’t you decided to go with polish instead of diamond black tip? 👍😁
does this exhaust keep the valve plug or do you just tuck that away
Did you remove the wing risers?
This video was filmed before the risers. They are still on my car 👍
Drone sound?????
This exhaust was a lot heavier than the OEM exhaust
Great, an awesome exhaust for a car I still can't get! 😂
Dude you looked stoned. Smoking some good shit before making this vid

What exhaust brands have you seen that impressed you with build quality?
@ryu6998 any Japanese brand has better weld quality
The new K20c motors sound terrible compared the old K20 and K24s
Millteck is the better choice
3 months after the prototype is horse shit
Isn’t it a little dumb buying a Honda civic for 50k ? Why not buy a Tesla Performance that’s way faster and better technology.
If you consider electric cars in the first place, then nothing matters.

🤣
It’s so ironic you’re commenting about a Tesla on an exhaust video. The Honda Civic and tesla are completely different modes of transportation.
