Holostars collab are mostly online so they use png. Offline collabs are the ones where you can use the actual models for streaming because you needed to set it up.
It's extremely hard to get all the models going unless you're all in the same house. If you've seen Gura and Kiara going their teaching streams, Gura usually ends up in cardboard mode. Getting the stream of their model through discord, plus having your model going, plus obs, plus the game, plus live chat is begging for lag and glitches.
