Here’s some tips
1. Steady walking takes about 120 mins. Easy peasy for the young and fit, older knees will be challenged
2. Sunrise is best. Under a full moon with clear sky is a lifelong memory.
Every walker has a working, fully charged headlight.
3. Any time of year it will be cold at the top. Have a lightweight jacket to put on your sweaty body
4. The walk is well defined. Allow at least 100 metres between any companions, otherwise they will yap. Better to enjoy the sounds of the bush. (I know most entitled folks believe every pearl that falls from their lips is of utmost importance, but this might be one of the handful of occasions when silence really is golden)
5. Take 2 600ml bottles of water
6. Get up early enough to do your morning poos before heading off.
6. Sturdy walking shoes that can still grip on wet surfaces
I’ve done this walk twice Both times just using the light of a full moon. After seeing the RBB snake, consider my younger self lucky.
Thanks so much for adding in those tips! Those are really helpful
Wow that's a beautiful place!
@@worldnomac no problem!
Try it without the chain. Dad, Mum and I went up this mountain before there was a chain. I was 7. I swear they were trying to kill me, lol 😂
Wow! So beautiful. I love the way get the drone shot Magnificent!
Being above the cloud is an amazing experience...
Looks like viewing the world from out of the world...
Well done!! Great views great vid!!!
It dawned on me that so much of the haze/clouds were from the fires burning at the time.

You didn't really climb though. You hiked up it
There was a part of it that included a bit of climbing!
Sad 2024
Never to be climbed again because of a minority
fuck em. Australia is the White mans land, and we're taking it back.
Hopefully that crazy closure to everyone except Aboriginal people, will be overturned.
