Some people can do the same thing for 30 years and still not get what it's about. From this guy's experience, riding is about looks and collecting gear. Like a pokemon game. And he preaches it too, amazing :D
Well, I pointed out a couple of things to the Miserable Fiddler. Namely, as a pilot, if he found a patch of oil under his aircraft prior to take off..he wouldn't whizz it up into the skies to see what develops...but he was happy to take to the roads on a bike pissing oil out. I also mentioned that, if he lost control and killed someone, on a dodgy bike which had a pre existing, known fault, its jail time. I was polite, gave him my opinion, as I've been asked to do by several coroners over the years (a good coroner always asks an engineer his opinion, rather than getting super technical, often in front of the family of the deceased), yet he saw his backside big time. Banned me good. Oops. Apparently I contravened his articles 3 and 5.
"Its a great little bike, bullet proof" he says... before he drops 10 Grand on mods for it and turns another bike into a disaster. Its like a UA-cam shorts version of Del.
I used to stay on the right side of the lane because the bulk of the shite (nails, bolts, screwdrivers, sand, branches) on the roads here tends to collect on the left Even in the car I keep it out of the shite and as you said for better sightlines.
I used to watch him. But in recent years he seems to be more about selling clothes, helmets, gloves, jackets, security garage door systems. Many of which you will see in his garage as he gets many of them for free. I guess it’s part of how these channels work now. His reviews are pretty watered down and he tends to never really hate on a bike as he means he wont get given any more to ride. So you can’t really take much of what he says with any real feeling of honesty. I don’t think he is a bad guy he is just a bit of a wet fanny.
Look up the mileage on the MOT history. The triumpth only has 2.4k miles on it and the GS doesn't even do 1k miles a year. I guess going to the coffee shop is the only riding he does
I had a rough count of his suits, and I got 23 and 19 helmets. These outfits aren't even the ones he wears while riding. He also has different outfits for each type of bike he rides.
I don't understand why people use TEC shocks, if you need to upgrade, get something better, OEM from another bike for the same price or less. I'm fitting ZRX1100 rear shocks and CBR600F4 cartridge fork internals to my Bonneville. The ZRX shocks were cheaper than Tec but OEM KYB with adjustable rebound and compression. I picked up the Showa cartridge forks for less than a set of progressive springs. It's a conversion a few people have tried which works well. My 125 had a Triumph TT600 rear shock as the original leaked and had the same length and stroke and known to work well with that bike. Or if you have that much money to spunk on bikes get Ohlins.
I have to admit TMF and myself have a lot in common, we both have dozens of cute little outfits to wear, we both gotta look good no matter the cost or how uncomfortable it makes us, and we're both into risking life and limb riding things down twisty country roads with a lubed rear end. Seriously though, it's all about looks not substance to these "biking is my personality" people, same as the bell ends you pick out in the comments, they don't care about being correct, they just want to *look* smart.
Pompous rich guy with a channel for stoking his own ego. Funny that after Del was on his MTV segment, Del started collecting more bikes. Must be a tax dodge of some sort. Thanks Matt
TMF is about as funny as a dose of dangue fever. The speed that small print flashed up What a twerp. I cannot imagine how miserable he would be to work with.
It might be to do with my Yorkshire / Scottish ancestry, but I've always rebuilt my own leaky shocks,, even OEM ones, because replacing a worn out 50p seal is not a big deal to replace. (Having a spring compressing tool helps).
Excellent video by TMF. Oil leaking onto your back wheel? Take it out for a test drive and see how much more is left to piss over the rear disk and tyre and how long you can stay on for. Eminently sensible, even Del wouldn't be that dumb. Or would he...
If I saw that oil coming out of my bike there's no way it would be going anywhere near the road until it was fixed! It was all over the rear tyre! It would be different if you were already out and limped it home but he knowingly went out on on an unroadworthy bike with a dangerous fault and postedi it on UA-cam! Ffs!
31:29 that's the road into Great Missenden high street. If you keep going straight you end up on the Wycombe road. He should showcase the area around Aylesbury, Wendover, Tring, etc. Bit more interesting than residential streets.
Such a waste when tools like this own premium sports bikes. Watched a few of his vids and he seems to spend his days wobbling around housing estates and 40 zones
Probably too late to comment, but when TMF had that Enfield done, he wanted those longer bars fitted, it looks like the clutch cable had not been changed for a longer one. He so got ripped off for the 'mods' on that bike😆
Had to deal with suspension leaks on new japanese bikes too. The left fork seal on a one year old MT07 went bad and 2 years later a dripping rear shock on a new Z400. (each within the first 10 000 km) Quite a number since only 4 friends of mine got new bikes in the last 5 years.
UA-cam has a playback speed setting that would solve the talking fast "issue". TMF could suggest that instead of being a knob, or just leave that part out.
Wow I've never seen so much fluffing around with bikes...well done tmf. That Duke is sweet, old mate ain't doing it justice idling around at 30mph what a knob lol😂😂
He gives "Gear Que*rs" a bad name. I been riding for 40+ years and have one helmet I use all the time, my old ones are on a shelf in my house, they look like art. I like vented leather jackets, and have a good one piece riding suit, have 2 old race suits. Far as his collection of bikes, pretty impressive out lay of cash there fer sure. Peace. I like the way you call out "Twits." btw
oh no these aftermarket shocks I bought leaked, lets buy another pair. wow...it's amazing how exposing critical thinking or lack thereof really is and it only takes a second
Perfect collab. This bald one buys a bike, Del ruins it with his skills and Stuart Fillingam talks about it while riding it. Before giving it back to this groomer to let it gather dust in his garage
So a shock with lost oil from reservoir would suffer loss of damping, but the springs will still support all the weight. Should not be bottoming out on bumps, right? Will tend to bounce more. Is the piggy back reservoir holding oil or just pressurized gas?
On a lot of the tech shocks they hold nothing because they aren't sealed and pressurised properly and the nitrogen pisses out through the schrader valve.
Here's how I check my oil level. 1. drive bike onto a scale, record the weight. 2. open the sump bolt. 3. clean the oil off the scale and record the difference in weight. Congrats. You now know how much oil is in your bike, or was in your bike. 4. Collect the oil from the floor and scale and put it back in the bike. As a bonus you get lots of healthy nutrients from the garage floor which helps your engine's digestive tract. If you want a quick and dirty method you can stick a tape measure or ruler in the oil sump like a dip stick and then just use google to convert the cms to millilitres, or if you prefer imperial, yards to cubic milli-inches
How minted is he,I used to watch back in the day, but I find his “pretend niceness “ too much. More equipment, jackets, helmets, leathers, suits, tools, but think it could be an engine leak? All the gear, no idea.
Is it me or is the left hand grip not on fully or the bars are not central. Also i am sure there are lots of people out there whom would like the problem of having to move one bike not winge cause the have to move a few. Guys a compleat k**B.
Love you to do a vid on ethenol in fuel, I have heard so much that I am confused, with your background and easy to understand explanations, it would be great....
Bastard, watch this, went out on trike came back, found oil on on bottom of fork leg and disc. . Checked engine oil level just to make sure it hadn't by some miracle gone up the frame and down the leg.🤣🤣 Back in to garage and fit spare set.
pleasantly surprised at the entertainment given by this video. Saw it in my feed and thought, meh 44mins of ripping on the Mr Bean of biking but watched the whole thing smiling and nodding. I also don't know how he manages to do regular segment just reading MCN
its not the shock that,s leaking on Royal Enfield ,it was me ,i slipped in while he was in the toilet and took a slash on his Enfield ,why you may ask ,because im a knob 😂🤣
"Hey kids" is what got him on the list 😂😂😂
lol
In all my life it's never occurred to me to buy suspension parts based on how they look.
If they give off "good energy" then the bike will perform better.
And if all else fails we can give it a coat of tough black from dels play book lol
Never too late to start ! There are some great looking suspension units out there .
lol ..... the £200 rear shocks on his £14K enfield ............. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Hope the shocks on the BMW, Goldwing and Ducati never fail, if a tek shock is expensive.
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤘🤘
I saw this the other day and just laughed so hard, but mainly because I sort of knew you’d have to scrutinize it 😂😂
Some people can do the same thing for 30 years and still not get what it's about. From this guy's experience, riding is about looks and collecting gear. Like a pokemon game. And he preaches it too, amazing :D
Is that the 15 grand interceptor - this clown rules
Yes
15K interceptor with Chinky rear shocks.
the Interceptor isn't a bad bike allegedly
@@jediknight129 15 large tho
cost him almost as much as his Panigale ...... fucking hilarious!!! 🤣😂🤣😂
Ironically, perfect trick to play on a guy like that would be to pour oil on one of the bikes while he's away.
😂😂❤this
😂😂😂😂

Par for the course for an idiot who doesn't want to be shown up for what he is.
🤣🤣 opps!

Even in the car I keep it out of the shite and as you said for better sightlines.
I suspect the left side shock had no oil in it to start with, so now the bike has a more uniform setup
As a pilot, you'd expect him to at least know how gravity works... Thick as mince this bloke
He can't overtake a car on a Panigale, he's not going to bothered about manoeuvrability on a Goldwing.
He did have a dirtbike too a couple of years back. He had a Honda CRF.
Disaster squared.
Even better after the livestream
Del's long lost richer, balder brother. Another walking oxymoron.
Also quite the fiddler vibes
Yes indeed +1

Probably a fashion accessory and not a vehicle. Most harley riders are like that.
Probably poured some oil to ground. Then engage the audience by asking what could it be.
All the gear, and no idea!
I think this guy is all about the 💰 🤑 💸 💲 money
I think he wants more than that - he's after admiration, respect, and some proper opportunities to cuck and simp.
Ego i reckon
@@Unfunny_Username_389 that's his jazz. But he looks like a money chasing git

I've only got one of each. I must be the wrong sort of motorcyclist...
There are lots of slap heads like him!
yeah, the word 'closet' springs to mind... and not for the clothes.
Just taste it.... If it tastes like a cat piss, that means that cat pissed there
The tiny hand stick is always funny, I dont care who is using it.
I believe Amazon sell them as a teacher's aide. The guy at ' Stanceworks' uses one to good effect.

Why do people who "can't " act like they "can"? He probably poured pancake syrup on it.😂
Was wondering when this was going to pop up 😂
I have 5 bike jackets & 3 helmets, and it felt a bit excessive until I saw TMF's absurd garage. Looked like a J&S showroom.
If he moved his wardrobe into the house, maybe it would be easier to get the bikes out.
I have to admit TMF and myself have a lot in common, we both have dozens of cute little outfits to wear, we both gotta look good no matter the cost or how uncomfortable it makes us, and we're both into risking life and limb riding things down twisty country roads with a lubed rear end.

Pompous rich guy with a channel for stoking his own ego. Funny that after Del was on his MTV segment, Del started collecting more bikes.

Thanks Matt
The guy talking about the shock leaking from sitting is bringing up ancient seals made of leather
Even the oil spill might be staged.🤪
I love Louis Theroux Weird Weekends and many other fine docs he made! Such a nice guy while not avoiding difficult questions.
He seems to make a virtue out of being mechanically ignorant.
I started off thinking you were a little harsh, but now I’m pissing my sides 😂 bravo
So he's more concerned that the time on his bikes dash hasn't auto updated? Cutting edge 😂😂
I used to watch TMF but find him a pain in the arse so don't bother now.
TMF is about as funny as a dose of dangue fever. The speed that small print flashed up What a twerp.
I cannot imagine how miserable he would be to work with.
21:00 probably the lever is in that position because the bars are too long and the clutch cable is too short. They couldn't be bothered to change it.
He had a few quid before he started his UA-cam channel if you can afford to own a plane and fly it then you have a good income
He doesn't own the plane he flies. It's registered in some other guys name, so he either rents it occasionally or he's part of a group consortium.
I don't think he will be asking del boy to look at it 😂
It might be to do with my Yorkshire / Scottish ancestry, but I've always rebuilt my own leaky shocks,, even OEM ones, because replacing a worn out 50p seal is not a big deal to replace. (Having a spring compressing tool helps).

I know those roads. He only goes around the block. He never goes down the A413 (which is relatively fast and safe) in his videos. That's a bit weird.
I knew you would make a video about that knobhead again. LOL
So funny 👍🤣

Probably too late to comment, but when TMF had that Enfield done, he wanted those longer bars fitted, it looks like the clutch cable had not been changed for a longer one. He so got ripped off for the 'mods' on that bike😆

what does he thinks happens to bikes when you leave them for 4 weeks?
Have not watched many videos from this individual but I think the Captain Obvious, statement"I'm not an expert on this stuff." Says it all.
