Man, that is some fine and direct to the point video, the fact that you show how to take out and install is also greatly appreciated...
I have me a 2 stroke and currently looking to mod it in the exact same fashion when I came upon your video, subscribed, bless you thanks!

Thank you so much for the kind words and taking the time to watch. I find it hard to make videos so I figured I'd make a video on some modifications I feel most people can handle and still have that factory reliability. And data showing evidence of gains 😀

Great video! Love the content. What make/model is the bike in the video?

Thanks for watching 😊 it is a Taiwanese bike called a cpi oliver city, they come with a very common/ popular minarelli style engine. Best part is these mods will fit pretty much any minarelli engine, and equivalent modifications will work very well on other scooters as well :)

So is 51-52 mph on that bike *really* all that comfortable? lol great video! I don't currently have a 2 stroke but this is great info for when i do find one.

She's got nice sized tires that feels comfy at those speeds. And take any bumps on the road real smoothly. I'm sure I can hit mid 50s with a bit more stretch on the road but for a stock 50 cylinder she pulls nicely 😀 plus the benefit of not being stuck at 38 mph not having traffic get stuck behind me 😅 thats the worst feeling.
But thanks for the comment and view it means a lot to a small player like me.
When you snag a 2t bike like say a zuma. I will say riding into the 50s and even 60s feels comfortable as they have such a large tire fitment that it almost feels like a Cadillac riding down the roads at those speeds 😀

@@X7rocks i actually have a 2019 zuma that i absolutely love. and i totally get what you mean about the tires. i also feel that whole feeling bad about people getting stuck behind me at 38 (which is about when it starts pinging the rev limiter like an encyclopedia salesman knocking on your door who knows you're home even though you're hiding).
and dude! you're putting out great content! it's a pleasure to watch and i'm always happy when i see you have a new vid pop up in my notifications!

@fthrgasp your compliments mean a lot. I try not to go too crazy on builds cause I like to do builds that regular people can do and benefit from and show what mods work and what doesn't work. I guess it's very basic stuff but I'm a simple kinda person 😅 though If you're in the market for another scoot. I'd highly recommend the 2008 to 2011 zuma. They have higher gearing than earlier zumas. (One negative is the throttle cam is limited) but can be modified to allow full throttle with these mods helping them out even further 😀

@@X7rocks ya know, i've seen a few of those around and thought about it, but the trick is finding one that the owner isn't really proud of ($$$), or hasn't been dropped repeatedly. but knowing the range to look for is helpful thank you! it's kinda got me thinking about things i can do to my current zuma to get a little more out of it without going wild with it. suggestions on that?

@fthrgasp if I remember the zuma 4 stroke engine can get a big bore kit and a cvt and clutch kit. But I do recall the big bore being quite pricey :( but if you can remove the limiter it should help you get to the mid 40s. With cvt upgrades I can see a few more mph as well.
I've seen a few 2 stroke swapped but that is gonna be quite a time consuming project while you have a perfectly good engine to upgrade while you can.
      Which year is your model?

Can you link the parts you used? There isn’t enough detail to chase down the parts, particularly the exhaust upgrade

Stage 6 sport pro variator kit.
Malossi delta clutch on yellow sport springs. And malossi drive face
These can be found at scootertuning.ca for your specific model.
(Though if you search for polini 107mm clutch on ebay you'll find the best deal for a performance adjustable clutch for under 60 dollars I'm even gonna order a second one cause i like it so much)
Exhaust is a top performance leovince zx exhaust I can't link it as they're found in europe, most likely on ebay. But you can use a yasuni z or r to get similar results.
Next vid will be upgrading to a big bore kit and the results after.
