I was at a church camp a few days ago and the worship team started playing this and I stayed crying because I'm so underserving but God loves me anyway and for that I'm forever thankful.
Jesus has done it it is finished. When we sin, confess then move on. So hard we hold onto the Shame, to pay for our sin. It's hard to know that God really unconditionally loves us. ❤
Thank you Jesus. Through your glorious sacrifice you have given us a restored relationship with the Father. Words can never be enough praise. Let our hearts become more like Yours everyday. Let Your light shine through us to reflect your majesty.
"He pulls me close, with nail-scarred hands"...listened to this last night as I looked at a crucifix in my home and it really leveled me. There God Himself hung on a cross, died one of the worst deaths one can die, for His beloved creation. "A thousand years and tongues" truly are not enough to sing His praise. Glory be to God who is Jesus Christ!
I've just noticed how at 1:10 the word 'satan' has a lowercase 's'. I believe this is done on purpose because every time a word symbolizes the Lord, the first letter is a capital letter. Me being an English nerd, this really calls out to me showing how powerful God is over darkness and how he has reclaimed the title and trampled death.
Thank you. God must have inspired this song. It brings directly into Gods presence. It helped me so much through times of despair, fear and pain. The things you say about Jesus - so true, so wonderful. God bless you so much!
