Captured with the GoPro Max, fully immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of gorgeous Hamilton Falls located in Jamaica, Vermont. This video has been captured in 5.7K 360° with true spatial 360° audio (ambix). Ambisonics is a full-sphere surround sound format that will allow you to experience sound in all directions. It's the next best thing to being there!
This is a 360º interactive video! Click and drag to pan camera in any direction or simply move your mobile device/tablet to look around. Be sure to select the highest streaming quality on your device for best viewing experience (2160s in most cases for mobile, 2880s for desktop viewing). You can also experience this with a VR headset through UA-cam's app. 360º views are supported on mobile UA-cam App, Firefox & Chrome Browsers. Also now supported on newer SmartTVs using the UA-cam app (at 1440p or 4K resolution). For iOS users, the video may need to be viewed in the UA-cam app to enable 360º movement.
Recorded with a GoPro MAX (protune on, 100min 400max ISO) at 30fps and rendered at 5.7K "Cineform" highest video codec with 360 audio (ambix) and edited together using Adobe Premiere.

In this video, I wanted to once again fully test out the GoPro Max 360 spatial audio and this video does not disappoint! Unfortunately, GoPro’s own PC Exporter software doesn’t allow for simply exporting your .360 files with spatial audio as of July 2020. In order to get around this, you have to extract the 360 spatial audio manually and then sync it back up using an editing software such as Adobe Premiere.
The following is a quick guide that helped me. Comment below if you have found an easier way of doing this!
How to extract 360 Audio from GoPro Max videos on Windows...
Step 1: Download and install FFmpeg. Use the installation details outlined here:

Step 2: Go to the folder where your 360 video lives.
Step 3: Hold shift and right click, then select Open PowerShell Window Here. Or simply open Command Prompt on your PC and navigate to the folder your files are stored. Note: if the files are on a different drive, you must first type/enter “X:” without quotations where X is your drive and then use the “CD dir + your folder location” command.
Step 4: Enter this command into Windows CMD PowerShell:
ffmpeg -i yourvideoname.360 -vn -acodec pcm_s16le outputfilename.wav
Note: Input your 360 video name.360, and your desired output filename. You will see the audio file appear in the same folder the video is stored in.
Step 5: Use the GoPro Max Exporter application to convert the .360 file into a cineform file that you can edit within Premiere Pro.
Step 6: Follow this guide (www.willyurman.... ) to import and edit your 360 audio and video within Premiere Pro.
