This song is so true. We always associate childhood to happiness and innocence, and sometimes the best way to be happy again is to learn to let go and grow up...
No, you're starting to get to know the version of her who is a victim regardless of what actually happened. The WHOLE ALBUM is just one giant pity party. We used to know her as a happy girl that partied recklessly, now we know her as the whiny girl that doesn't get invited to parties.

splucy Survivors of sexual abuse often go back childhood memories because that’s when they were happiest and “innocent” because that’s a time in their life where they were safe and protected and your right it’s a way of reminding herself who she was and why she was happy then.
The scenes of her childhood brought back nostalgic thoughts of my own life of childhood hope and wonder. We lose that over time but we have to let go of everything negative and get back to our carefree childhood days of happiness.
jackthayer No, I think they are trying to say we just have to let go of all the negative things in life or at least learn how to deal with them and be able to keep living since most adults get lost with so many problems/negative things going on and forget life has so many amazing things to offer.

@@R4R3TY Partially wrong.... Dr. Luke told her to be a "party girl" the image he was looking for. Kesha herself added the $ to her name because she was broke, but herd her song playing everywhere. It was ment to be a joke she, herself, created.
I'm absolutely raging about Kesha's songs not being on the charts. They have such deep meaning and they're beautiful. I can gladly say that she's making her fans happy by being happy
so lit to watch kesha & queen Bey and Gaga and Miley and Katy and Taylor having their spiritual epiphanies and awakening and evolving like this. revolutionary women. this is evolution.
I LOVE how she's turning the pain of the past into a positive life lesson, I love how she fuses childhood vignettes with the modern-day Kesha to demonstrate how it's all part of one journey, I just love you Kesha!!!!
I love this song so much. It's a theme song for anyone who has lived through the worst and feels stuck in the darkness. It's so refreshing that Kesha directly addresses the hypocrisy we all have in us. It only dissipates when we recognize and acknowledge it. Letting go is the hardest thing ever, but Kesha gave us a beautiful song to light a path through that darkness as we learn how to let go. 💜🥰🧡 I hope she knows what a difference she has made in so many people's lives by living her truth.
it already is, everything before was forced it seems, i know everyone kinda of has a party side to them. but i think this is what she has always wanted
THIS SONG IS SOOOO BEAUTIFUL THAT IT ACTUALLY MADE ME CRY!!! THIS SONG IS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED RIGHT NOW!!! THANK YOU KESHA!!! ALL YOUR SONGS SO FAR HAVE BEEN ABSOLUTELY POWERFUL AND HAVE TOUCHED ME DEEPLY!!!! LOOKING FORWARD TO THE WHOLE ALBUM NEXT MONTH!!!
I love you, Kesha. I have been raped. Like you. I'm still suffering, and I haven't let go yet, but I'm trying. Thank you so much for still continuing to write songs. This song means a lot to me. Sometimes I wish I become a kid again and just forget all the things that I've been through. I still have nightmares from what happened to me and it has caused my insomnia but I'm fighting, still trying to live. Reason I say this is I don't have my friends on youtube so they won't ever know and I have always wanted to post about what happened to me to let people know that this thing really happens, that people shouldn't victim blame, that it's not our fault we got raped. Thank you so much for being an inspiration. And I love you. We love you. Stay strong. Stay you. Love from the Philippines
Kesha, I'm so proud of you. I've been through hell myself. I've been brain washed, abused and neglected in my past. I spent so many nights praying for a better life. God answered my prayers. Now, I celebrate letting go of the past and embracing the present. And this song is the perfect fit for me! ❤️
Imagine a song that touches your soul and relatable enough to make you cry.. Hope this masterpiece reaches all of the people who suffers from depression and anxiety, you are not alone..
Brian Karl In her album "Warrior" she sings high notes too :) in songs like "c'mon, wherever you are, warrior, thinking of you, Only wanna dance with you, etc" 💕
*I love how a couple of years ago she was talking about dancing and partying and now she's showing her emotions and including her personality.* This woman is amazing.
I absolutely love the fact that she came back with so much love and positivity to bring into the world. When someone is as famous as her they have a lot of influence on people, especially the youth, and I love that she is now using her fame to help brighten up this dark world. I also just love her upbeat, vibrant energy here. She seems so genuinely happy and full of love. She faced her inner demons and came back stronger and more beautiful than ever. Thank you Kesha for touching people's lives by sharing your beautiful gifts with the world!
Watching this again a few years later made me break down and start crying. I'm so emotionally fucked up right now. I haven't been in a good place mentally in a long time. physically in 2017 i almost died from crohn's i suffered so long before i was allowed to have surgery to correct it. I've stared death in the face more than once.
Hopefully you are recovering now and thank God you chose Kesha's music to accompany you in the process. One of the best decision you could have made because her lyrics and melodies are truly healing.
Alex Mok what makes you say that? She only released The Cure this year and most people agree it's not as good as most of her other stuff (and any song from Joanne was 2016).
I honestly can believe I saw a comment saying she's fat. No boo she ain't fat, she's amazingly curvy. And honestly back in 2010 she was SUPER skinny. I think she's amazing no matter what she looks like :)
Blackpink #1 Fan i agree, we all need to support her as she is recovering from an eating disorder. She is now curvier, as is natural to her, but she looks healthy and happy. So many female singers seem to be required? to supplement their artistry with sex appeal/body exposure, and its so nice to not only have Kesha back but for her to be respecting herself by dressing as she pleases.
I went sober on May 21st 2019 and when I found this song that summer, it really resonated with me and I believed that I understood this song at the time. I will be 5 years sober tomorrow and I finally understand this song because I really had to process all of my trauma to reach the point of being ready to let it go.
It makes me happy to see that her videos break 1 mil views in less than a day :) SHE DESERVES EVERYTHING POSITIVE. This song and this video are perfect.
...when she says she had "a boogeyman living under her bed, putting crazy thoughts into my head"...it is amazing to see her come so far!!! the lyrics ring so true if you've lived it yourself. it's hard to come back from living with crazy. like you said, she deserves everything positive!!!!
When Praying came out I was going through a very hard time. I didn't know if I should let go of something that was killing me inside, so I prayed like the song taught me to. I prayed every night for an answer. Today I finally decided that I need to leave it behind. I need to restart. I need to let go. And this song came out. She could've released any fucking song from the album today but she decided to release this one. Seriously? THANK YOU SO FUCKING MUCH UNIVERSE. And thank you Kesha. Thanks for giving me the answer I needed.
I had a nightmare last night about my childhood rapist. I woke up crying, like always when I dream about him. I just found this album a couple of days ago. I loved kesha in high school but i was hiding what was happening to me. (I put him in jail just so everyone knows) but this doesn't fix the broken parts of me. I turned to drugs to numb the pain. It worked for a bit till my first over dose 4 years ago. I've been clean since 2019. But I wasn't healing. I've been working on me since the beginning of this year. Finally after 17 years of pain, I'm trying to heal and Kesha is helping a lot. Thank you Kesha for sharing your pain with us and helping us heal as well.
I don't have words to express how happy and proud I'm of Kesha! All of her new releases are just perfection! I remember listening to her songs at high school and wondering how much fun i'd have in adult life... now as an adult I'm finally able to still listen to her new music and couldn't relate more to it... this is fucking life, with all the struggles but still giving us the opportunity to make something BEAUTIFUL out of it!!! Kesha has just done it! love from brazil
This is my fight song. Whenever my anxiety triggers me I just listen to this song and then I instantly keep going throughout the day. Thank you for this Kesha 💛
I'm crying. I can't explain how happy I am for Kesha not because she has changed her musicality but I'm happy because she seems so truly happy now. I admit I love her Animal album her 'Tik Tok', her 'We R Who We R', her 'Your Love is My Drug', her 'Die Young' but this album and songs are just a whole lot level of sincerity and love.
I love it when artists begin to release music that everyone can relate to. I've never been a huge fan of Kesha, but man, this month I've been finding myself listening to her new songs on repeat! I couldn't be more than happy to see her in this new stage of her life. She's seems so happy and free and I can't wait for her Rainbow album to finally come out!
Kamela Films honestly, the way you wrote it is so amazing. No hate or anything like that. Just saying you never really been a big fan of her. Very well done. It's a very nice comment to read. I just wanna say this real quick bc these days so much hate is going on so I just wanna say something positiv. And your comment is great, like I said!! 😘😘
Kamela Films Feeling the same way. I'm not big on mainstream music generally but I'm really digging her new stuff. And damn, after everything she went through I want her to FLOURISH.
Kamela Films totally agreed! I listened to her most popular music sometimes, but never went out of my way to listen to it, but this song is really easy to relate to and I really like it
I don't think she's had plastic surgery, or at least nothing that dramatic. She's just put on a little bit of weight. She's a 30 year old woman now, not a teenager but she still looks gorgeous
'The past can't haunt me, if I don't let it.'
This is a lesson I am trying so fucking hard to learn.
Time will tell
Me too for sure. I've been trying for years to learn it honestly.
i like the cat
Zyah Leigh me too. its so hard to do but i bet if i can learn it i, (and you) will be so much happier.

Actually "Woman" is #96 on the Billboard Hot 100 and "Praying" is #40 but peaked at #25
Malacano :] she's on the charts here in Australia :)
Praying was #2 on the iTunes chart for United States. But only for like 1-2 days. It was also like 1-2 days after Praying was released.
that's because people like despacito
Malacano :] it's because people listen to music about sex&drugs instead of this
She was so cute and innocent and free-spirited as a child. I think she's getting that back in her again. I want that back in me, too.
Ditto
Amen
She found God.
I want to get this too, embrace my childhood, And who I am
Definitely why I'm crying rn
She is so talented

so lit to watch kesha & queen Bey and Gaga and Miley and Katy and Taylor having their spiritual epiphanies and awakening and evolving like this. revolutionary women. this is evolution.

I was thinking of the same
chipspizza tell me about it 😏😏😏

I WASNT READY FOR THIS AND NOW I HAVE TO BE
I think she's droppping, like, a album just like a regular band
This is gonna be trendy 🔥
I LOVE how she's turning the pain of the past into a positive life lesson, I love how she fuses childhood vignettes with the modern-day Kesha to demonstrate how it's all part of one journey, I just love you Kesha!!!!
MissGeorgiex1 ikr!!
Thank you so much Kesha this song is more powerful than you may know🫶❤️
My god. Queen Kesha is giving me Rainbow like an HBO series. A perfect video every week. Keep em coming!
How? HOW did Kesha release 3 songs from 'Rainbow' and not let one of them be lesser than the rest???
A. TRUE. QUEEN.
THE. TRUE. QUEEN

I'll always love old kesha But new kesha deserves legendary status . every song you make is just what I need that day!😢💕💕
REAL
Picasso Marble yes!
Who else thinks this might be her best album to date?
*Enter Name Here* It already is, in my opinion.
NO DOUBT I LOVE HER SO MUCH THIS IS AMAZING!!
*Enter Name Here* gyyuijikoko
it already is, everything before was forced it seems, i know everyone kinda of has a party side to them. but i think this is what she has always wanted
They aren't completely comparable. This and Praying are *amazing* but Animal, Cannibal, and Warrior were all great albums too!
I'm genuinely so happy she's back
same here
Album : "Rainbow"
-> Praying = red
-> Woman = orange
-> Learn to let go = green
*loving this new album*
Lizy KIM Never realized this
Lizy KIM Where is yellow?
Lizy KIM pretty sure hymn was originally supposed to come before learn to let go, so I bet hymn is yellow
No... Is praying: yellow
Woman: red
And learn to let go: blue
Didn't even notice that!
2019? This song is a masterpiece💞 and the video it's soooo perfect

Iryn Ocado you're strong and you can overcome this 💓💓
stay strong. if Kesha can do it, so can you.
Sunshine Honey thank you so, sooo much. I will.
Sovathary Bon thank you so much. This is the first time I've shared this on social media, tbh I didn't think someone will see this comment
Iryn Ocado im happy that u find support in kesha's music. Be strong :)
Kesha, I'm so proud of you. I've been through hell myself. I've been brain washed, abused and neglected in my past. I spent so many nights praying for a better life. God answered my prayers. Now, I celebrate letting go of the past and embracing the present. And this song is the perfect fit for me! ❤️
Oh...I'm sorry (I know I'm not the person but :/)
Lindsey Lockwood Same happened to me. Been searching for a life. This song inspires me a lot. Good luck
Lindsey Lockwood glad

AlyxPrincess waiting for music vid!
Seinfeld wasn't interested, but I'd personally love to give Kesha a hug! ❤
ok but these high notes she keeps pulling off in every song i CANNOT she is so good. it's amazing seeing her making music the way she wants now.
Brian Karl In her album "Warrior" she sings high notes too :) in songs like "c'mon, wherever you are, warrior, thinking of you, Only wanna dance with you, etc" 💕
She's always sung high notes people just don't pay attention
Cinematic Ashley SOOOOOO TRUE
*I love how a couple of years ago she was talking about dancing and partying and now she's showing her emotions and including her personality.*
This woman is amazing.
Someone Not Special that wasn't by choice exactly
Someone Not Special come on the song is shite
Been Babe wtf are you talking about ???
Chocolate Girl did you forget that she was made to be mainstream and a boring party girl by her label and he media?
You are doing very well Kesha, new album is really touching
This is the most beautiful thing ever, the colours, choreography, vocals, lyrics all unite so extraordinarily
Personally, the best song of Kesha. This song has full of ❤️ & 😭.
100% Nostalgic
100% Talent
100% Good vibes
Kesha for you!!!😍
KESHA WE MISSED YOU SO MUCH
si :)
♥♥
I hope you're doing better now. And if you're not I hope you'll get there.
Hopefully you are recovering now and thank God you chose Kesha's music to accompany you in the process. One of the best decision you could have made because her lyrics and melodies are truly healing.
Be blessed
All the best
Wish you all the best ☀️
She is happy now so im happy
HER COPYING HER CHILDHOOD DANCE MOVES IS SO FRICKIN PURE AND LOVELY THIS IS FIRE YES KESHA
I would love a Kesha x P!nk collab tbh. 🌈
I WOULD ACTUALLY DIE.
Quinn Giroux I love people pink and Kesha it would be a great mix
Their voices would go so well together. Great idea!
YASSS❤️👌🏻👌🏻
Quinn Giroux wait P!nk is still alive
i feel like Kesha is talking to her inner child in this song, couldn't help but cry when she was dancing like she was as a kid.
Here is one artist that actually got BETTER in 2017
Regis Riley you forgot Miley cirus
And you forgot lady gaga
Regis Riley i
Alex Mok what makes you say that? She only released The Cure this year and most people agree it's not as good as most of her other stuff (and any song from Joanne was 2016).
Demi? Selena? Katy i agree flopped
If she doesn't at least get nominated for a Grammy this year...someone is going to get hurt.
ShadowTail Per say Dr. Luke?
Another great song! I feel like I'm discovering who she is with her with these new songs.
VeroSweetHobby i feel like im discovery who i am through this
I understand Maria Jose!
Her lyrics are pretty deep now :)
We are so Happy that Kesha is finally free and live her life happy ❤
Can we talk about Kesha having the worlds best comeback!! Like come on after all she went through she makes the best out of it and this is Proof
Amera Metzger she came outta this like Gandalf the White
Blackpink #1 Fan well she was starving herself back when she was really skinny
Blackpink #1 Fan I was just about to comment on how much healthier she looks now!! I'm so happy she's recovered, it's nothing but inspiration
Not to mention, the clothes she's been wearing doesn't flatter her figure, making her look larger. She's not as big as the clothes make her look.
Honestly, there is nothing wrong with being fat
Such a beautiful child...
Such a beautiful soul...💗
Erna .T i know
Erna .T such a beautiful woman
I went sober on May 21st 2019 and when I found this song that summer, it really resonated with me and I believed that I understood this song at the time. I will be 5 years sober tomorrow and I finally understand this song because I really had to process all of my trauma to reach the point of being ready to let it go.
Another highly underrated bop
Heyy little. Monster 🥰
@@Yugvijay there's other little monster listening to this!♡
@@santigermantta0994 me toooo
It makes me happy to see that her videos break 1 mil views in less than a day :) SHE DESERVES EVERYTHING POSITIVE. This song and this video are perfect.
Stephen Mitchell I hope it will get 5 to 10M views. She deserves that.
...when she says she had "a boogeyman living under her bed, putting crazy thoughts into my head"...it is amazing to see her come so far!!! the lyrics ring so true if you've lived it yourself. it's hard to come back from living with crazy. like you said, she deserves everything positive!!!!
Jp U let's go for 50 mil lol
dodidoodles YES!! I agree 100%. I've been through crazy....so I think that's why I love it so much. She's such an inspiration❤️😭
Stephen Mitchell realmente muito maneiro ,
When Praying came out I was going through a very hard time.
You are gorgeous x
Caio Siqueira Too❤❤❤
I had a nightmare last night about my childhood rapist.
I think we can all agree and say that kesha's comeback was too real
I don't have words to express how happy and proud I'm of Kesha! All of her new releases are just perfection! I remember listening to her songs at high school and wondering how much fun i'd have in adult life... now as an adult I'm finally able to still listen to her new music and couldn't relate more to it... this is fucking life, with all the struggles but still giving us the opportunity to make something BEAUTIFUL out of it!!! Kesha has just done it!
love from brazil
U don't have to sorry about your English, it's not your native language and u can communicate very well. No worries and go ahead.
Love from new zealand
Rodolfo Ernesto Vides Alegría valeu!!! 👍
It's so sweet that she recreated her childhood dance😭😭
This is my fight song. Whenever my anxiety triggers me I just listen to this song and then I instantly keep going throughout the day. Thank you for this Kesha 💛
I need to learn to let go of how AMAZING Kesha's album is going to be!
omg right?
same
Good song
kasha is queen
Bella Cigno Ikr, I can't wait for it to be released. I love all 3 other songs she's released so far (2017)
She's seems so happy and free and I can't wait for her Rainbow album to finally come out!
same tho like i'm in love with her new music
Kamela Films The why'd you say you've never been a fan? You lied to us 🌚
Kamela Films honestly, the way you wrote it is so amazing.
I listened to her most popular music sometimes, but never went out of my way to listen to it, but this song is really easy to relate to and I really like it
This song is beautiful and always relevant today!!!
Oh my gosh. The thought of video is amazing off her childhood. Well done Kesha. Glad to see you back and happy ❤️
Really good song. This is the very Kesha. Extravagant, spontaneous and sensitive girl.
exactly!!!!! thanks for the comment
This song is really good but why did she get plastic surgeries.... She was sooo pretty before..
I don't think she's had plastic surgery, or at least nothing that dramatic. She's just put on a little bit of weight. She's a 30 year old woman now, not a teenager but she still looks gorgeous
+Soh She got lip fillers (that are temporary), got a bit older, and gained a little weight that's all
Kesha made up more than half of my childhood, and I'm glad to see her back making music the way she likes it, because if she likes it, I like it
good bye got awlyn
childhood? suddenly I feel old
Sydney La Roche literally
Sydney La Roche same 😂
This was genius!! Love kesha!
