That is defamation per se (damage is presumed, so you don't even have to prove that you were damaged). Public figure doctrine still comes into play, though, so you'd have to show that mayiandjay knew what they were saying was false. Unfortunately, he's so fucking stupid that it's blatantly obvious that he genuinely believes that TF was involved in criminal activity, even after doing some basic research. It's not even remotely worth suing for defamation here. TF would probably lose due to the fact that he has actively and prominently engaged in the controversy at hand.

If you mean the moron, he has expressed an opinion, that's legal. He never said TF did anything illegal. If being stupid was a crime ... well. You can say someone is evil and you can say that _you think_ he isn't a scientist, after all, it's his opinion, he never claimed that TF's diploma was fake and he never made a credible claim. People say NASA is faking it.
For defamation you'd have to prove TF's reputation took a noticeable, real life hit (which it didn't, if anything he's doing better), estimate it as loss and demand the cash. So, no.
You can demand punitive action but you're not going to get it for a private citizen. He's not likely to do it again.
As for perjury, not really. He isn't under oath. He did, however, put in writing things that he knew were false, by filing a DMCA (US 1000) if you can get to call a video "in writing", but he could always plead stupidity and offer to compensate TF for the lost revenue (of 3 bucks). You'd have to prove he understood what he did was wrong which ... good luck. He did take it down so if anything it will count as well intentioned mistake.
So no, unless he's stupid enough to start a suit, and thus eat the cost when he loses, it's not worth pursuing. It will get dismissed.
