His biggest mistake was getting involved with Teddy. Everyone always wants to place the blame on Louie and Franklin’s mom but forget how evil and calculated Teddy was. He was never ever gona let Franklin walk away free no matter what happened. Franklin could have kept ALL of his money and successfully made the real estate deal and went 100% legit. Teddy would have came after him eventually and got him locked up or killed to cover up Government involvement.
Should've had Leon and Jerome talk to him. Or his mom. His mom would've tried to guilt trip Teddy or threatened to go to police. But not undercut Frank which emboldened teddy to take Frank's money.
