In many cases, 'debt(long-term debts)' does not equals 'total debts'
So sir my doubt is that what is included in total debts' other than debts...

Debt means you have an obligation to pay. Bank loan is a debt. Debenture is a debt. Bond is a debt. If you have borrowed with a promise to repay, it will be called as debt.

Hi Sir, I did not understand your perspective in explaining equity and liabilities. Generally Assets = Liability + Equity , this is what everywhere we follow. But as you told our equity is liability ?? This is not true actually. Debt is liability from firm perspective.

Manish Kumar not only debt is liability- equity is also a liability. The difference is debt is payable by the business to outsiders equity is payable by business to owners . both these funds are payable to others that’s why we classify them under total liability.total liability includes equity as well.
