- After sailing across the Drake Passage in a 15 meter sail boat, and facing the gnarly rough seas for 6 days, the Harbor House Life team finally got to spend a couple weeks free diving and exploring Antarctica in a very different way than most get to enjoy. Check it out!

What are the specs on those wetsuits you've been wearing for the cold-water freediving? Almost everyone I know goes drysuit for ice dives, but you don't seem to have any trouble with the cold water in your wetsuits.
We use custom 9mm suits. They are pure rubber. meaning no nylon on the outside or inside with makes them a bit more fragile, but we use hair conditioner to get in and they are much warmer than a drysuit. You should ask your local dive shop if they carry free diving specific wetsuits.
