@@escanor4238 I ship them personally, why does it matter if Arthur can't do anything for Merlin? Even with escanor, Merlin can do more for herself than escanor can do for her. Arthur means a lot to Merlin and is her hope, she obviously cares about the well-being of Arthur and him becoming the king of chaos than even her own life. Merlin's world literally revolved around Arthur, everything was for his sake.

Even if thats your opinion, i cant bring myself to respect that since you’re blind and dont rven consider the fictional characters’ perspective. Merlin isnt in love with arthur as she was only trying to make him stronger, to wield the excalibur. For escanor, we can tell he’s flat out jealous but said that he doesnt mind being rejected as he just said to hawk. I highly doubt that merlin would be interested in romance unless they’re like someone like meliodas(not saying arthur is a nobody) and she’s more into knowledge and magic as she is the Sin of gluttony

@@escanor4238 Arthur didn't really steal her from Escanor. Merlin probably didn't feel th same way for Escanor, and in the end it's HER choice who she loves. Either way, if Escanor REALLY loved Merlin, he shouldn't have let her suffer like that.
I think the sword can only be pulled out of an object by someone who is worthy. At one point we saw zeldris try and pull the sword out of the stone but it wouldn't budge.
@@lukemarriott306 but what exactly stopped him from doing that? If it was magic that wouldn’t make sense. The power the DK gave to Zeldris literally let’s him negate magic or seal it off. The previous wielder all stabbed themselves with it(correct me if I’m wrong) so maybe it was their souls that did it. (Maybe the reason was already stated and I just forgot or missed it)
@@Huskypie I'm thinking the souls and the sword might judge the person who's picking it up, because even though he can seal magic Zeldris still failed to pull out the sword. He can't seal soul's so it's the only explanation I can think off.

I think it depends on your definition of power. I think they have a similar amount of magic power but Merlin seems to have more offensive spells while Elizabeth has more supportive spells. (In my opinion tho in a fight I think the winner would be whoever strikes first.)

What is Merlin sin?
She made a deal between the two gods. The god of the underworld and the God of heaven the demon King and the supreme deity. So basically said come to our side and she said I will come to whom ever side who has the best gift to bestow upon me. They gave their best best gifts thinking that she would join them but she took their gifts and decided that neither one of them she was going to join. That's what offended the two gods and so they team up to destroy Merlin and then because they couldn't get her they destroyed her entire City.
