Hey everyone! So apparently the Comeback Kid Damage Repair and The Protective Type Heat Protectant can be used as leave ins (with those names, who knew lol??) So for everyone who has used those as leave ins, leave your experiences under this comment! ⬇️⬇️
The comeback kid is very creamy. Wasn’t prepared for that and it went in very smoothly with a ton of slip. The protective type. I’m not used to the texture of something that is supposed to protect your hair from heat. I didn’t know if I put too much or too little. It also was creamy and easy to apply. The texture makes sense because you want to protect every strand. It’s just I haven’t had any product like it before.
Your hair looks great. Maybe try The Comeback Kid as a leave-in? I used The Rich One shampoo and conditioner on my microlocs today. I really like how soft and moisturized they feel.
Agreed I purchased the shampoo, deep conditioner, & the defining curl cream. So far, I love all the products! They are extremely moisturizing. And I have fine low porosity hair & when I say the defining cream MELTED in my hair 😌
My favorite is the homecurl cream!! Its smells so good, and it's so moisturizing. I use it alone after the shampoo and deep conditioner. It has some hold to it as well, which is a plus!
This collection is very protein based. Sometimes protein overload can happen when used repeatedly for wks and wks . So I just wonder how the hair would feel and look in the long run. But I guess it depends on the hair type ? Thanks for the honest review ❤
Yep, balance is key! Moving forward I’ll use these products once every few weeks, balancing it out with more moisture-based products on the other weeks.
Your review was great and I am going to try it. I need a leave-in too, so thanks to the comments about the leave-in. Now I’m ready to buy!! Thanks Mo and thanks commenters
i literally don't understand how commenters are more knowledgeable than influencers/content creators.. it seems like people would rather be first than right lol.. no shade at this person bc she did go on the website.. but seems like it was still used wrong.. could also be on the team for maybe not educating people correctly? idk because commenters and viewers seem to be getting it right..
@@nonapplicable9590 hi there! I literally used a shampoo, deep conditioner, and styler… I didn’t realize there were tons of ways that those types of products can be used other than to cleanse, condition, and style. For everyone saying the products were used wrong, how else were they to be used??
@@nonapplicable9590I went on the site and found that the line was unnecessarily complicated and not very well explained. If people are getting confused, then there's a good reason for that.

Best review ive seen on these products! I appreciate you doing a twist out 😊 Highly enjoyed the video and your hair looks great! I may try the 5 in 1 heat protection still debating gurl i just dont know 😂
Thank you love! If you do try the heat protectant come back and let me know what you think, apparently it’s a leave in too so I’m curious to see how it works out!
Thank you so much!! For this video I only used FENTY Hair. Before this I’ve been bouncing back and forth between my faves from several different brands, not just one brand in particular . I’ve changed around some things with my diet and supplements so that has also really helped with the health of my hair, probably more than any actual products I’ve used ❤️
Yessss to the new intro! LOVE IT! Question: If you had to choose between these 3 products and Adwoa Baomint collection, which would you choose for moisture?
I love this video and your honest review. Like with Cecred, Patterns, and Tarani’s line, I’m trying to figure out what bill am I supposed to not pay to afford their products. 😂
I wholeheartedly agree with your review. I was trying to sniff my hair all day. I tried the Rich shampoo/conditioner, heat protectant, and gel on a wash n go. I returned the conditioner and will try the deep conditioner/curl cream. The gel was disappointing for a wash and go and I wasn’t wow’d by anything. (Fenty skin/beauty has some of my staples) I was disappointed in the moisture.
I’m glad to see I’m not the only one! I was initially interested in the gel for a wash n go but then changed my mind when I saw the size of the container lol.
Thank you! Have you used it as a leave in? What were your thoughts? Especially on the moisture level because that’s what I meant when I said we needed a leave in lol
Even though people are saying Comeback Kid and the creamy Heat Protectant are leave-ins, yes, they are leave-ins in that they can be used as a leave-in if you want it to be, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that they are leave-in conditioners, which are two entirely separate things. I wouldn't exclusively use either as a go-to leave in conditioner unless you're using one for bond treatments (Comeback Kid) or as a heat protectant (Protective Type). The line just dropped only a few days ago y'all lol, give it time, Rih will give us a traditional leave-in CONDITIONER eventually.
It looks like you have fine type 4 hair like me. So I wonder how it’ll work for me. I’m a tad nervous about the protein in the line though because I have low porosity hair. Wish me luck!
Yep I do have type 4 fine hair with medium porosity. Protein is good for low porosity hair too in moderation, so I think you’ll be fine as long as you balance these products with more moisture based products as well! ❤️
That’s what some other people have commented, I’m going to look at some more reviews to decide if I should pick it up to pair with the cream. Thank you!
How often do you reapply moisturizing products? Does it depend on the season? If so, do you use water + product or maybe just water? The reason I ask is because I wonder if some of the product lines which can be used on type 4 hair (like mine) perform best when it's warm and humid outside, like now in the USA. I'd like to see a wintertime launch for type 4 hair when the air is dry, wonder who did that? Hmmm
For me personally, I just go ahead and rewash and style when my hair gets super dry. This is why like products that have enough moisture so that I can get at least 5 days out of the style before having to redo it.
I’m white gurl pool is pulling my hair out I need something this I’ll try I bought Mizani years ago my friend turned my on to it..I love it but I wanna that what u have,,my hair feels like STRAW after I get outta the pool
Hey there! You might really like these in that case. One thing I’ve noticed is how soft my hair feels after using these. Even today in day 4, although my hair is super frizzy it’s still EXTREMELY soft!
@AllThingsMoElle I used it alone. I find when I use gels with leave ins my wash and go's don't last as long in my hot humid climate. If the price was a bit more affordable it would be my go to product
Did you use the heat protector before you sat under the dryer? Maybe that should have been applied to help in retaining some moisture and not caused your hair to dry out..
I only used the 3 products I mentioned in the video. But perhaps you’re right! I chose to use the styler as I would any other styler, which includes sitting under the dryer without a heat protectant, and I don’t typically have dry hair as a result so 🤷🏾♀️ Have you tried these out yet? I’d love to hear your experience and how you used the products!
No I haven't tried the product as yet. I'm reviewing through you and others to know how and if it is a right fit for me. I love trying natural remedies on my hair. Your hair is beautiful
It’s hard to compare the two because I’ve tried almost all of Cecred’s products (everything but the oil) and I’ve only tried these 3 products from the FENTY line. They both seem to be geared towards repairing the health of the hair, but FENTY has more options for styling than Cecred does. Both shampoos and deep conditioners perform very similarly to me!
Thank you boo!! I definitely understand the feeling of being underwhelmed (although some people are trying to come for me for my underwhelmed-ness 😂) thank you for tuning in love!
I bought this and my hair didn't like it at all, I bought Beyonce hair products when they first came out and they are better for my hair texture. I wish Rhianna much success.

The people are saying the heat protectant is also a leave in. I just wonder how moisturizing a heat protectant will be, if most heat protectants are light enough to be able to withstand heat styling… 🤔
Yeah, girl, I'm good . I didn't try Beyonce's line, and I will not be trying this here fenty line. Don't get me wrong, I love fenty , I have some of the skincare and makeup. I'm over it with the celebrity haircare lines, tho...get somebody else to do it.
