Thanks for taking the time to make the video. The process works exactly as you describe. The only difference was that, perhaps because I'm in rural Japan, there was no language option to change to English. But the screens and buttons are the same, and pretty intuitive regardless of language.

Thank you so much for making this video! The video is very new and up to date so I can confidently go to combini and print all my docs. I wonder if you can pay with out coins, like a credit card or IC card. Or if you can exchange coins somewhere?

I don't use my credit card here. But in 7-Eleven Convenience store your can withdraw cash through ATM booths where you can easily use your credit cards. You can also exchange your USD to Japanese yen from the same booth. So it's easy to get coins / cash. I am not sure but surely there certainly option for IC Cards as well. Thanks for the comments.
