..crossing through the Jordan, reminded me of the resurrection, crossing from death to life, that's what happens with Jesus! Jesus made us cross over from death to life, He went before us and did it all already and now we are alive in Christ and with Him we cannot die!..John Bunyan, in pilgrims progress has a great illustration of that..when Christian goes through the Jordan river, he begins to sink and can't swim but His friend hopeful reminded Him that Jesus died for his sin and that he will be fine so Christian rises. So when Christian get to the other side he asked God to send an invitation to his loved ones who are not yet saved and He is told that God heard his prayer so He sends evangelist with an invitation to his loved ones! Amazing! (I have just watched that scene and it made me smile).. now, as a Christian i believe it that can happen even before we get to be physically with Jesus..Because the resurrection story is basically the Christian life story if i may say 😊..
