1. HOW TO VISIT MUSSOORIE
One can reach Mussoorie by the following three mentioned ways
By Air: The nearest airport to Mussoorie is the Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, which is around 54 km away. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Mussoorie.
By Train: The nearest railway station to Mussoorie is the Dehradun Railway Station, which is around 34 km away. From there, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Mussoorie.
By Road: Mussoorie is well-connected by road to major cities in India. You can take a bus from Delhi, Dehradun, Haridwar, or Rishikesh to reach Mussoorie. Alternatively, you can also drive to Mussoorie from these cities.
2. WHERE TO STAY
Mussoorie has a variety of accommodation options ranging from budget-friendly guest houses to luxurious resorts. Some of the popular areas to stay in Mussoorie includes Mall Road, Picture Palace, Library More, Char Dukan, Landour etc.

The best time to visit Mussoorie is from March to June and from September to November, when the weather is pleasant and ideal for outdoor activities. During these months, the temperature ranges from 20°C to 30°C and the skies are clear, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills and mountains. The monsoon season in Mussoorie lasts from July to August and it can be quite rainy and humid during this time. However, the lush greenery and waterfalls in the area make it a beautiful time to visit for nature enthusiasts. Winter season in Mussoorie lasts from December to February and the temperature can drop to as low as 2°C. However, it's still a good time to visit if you want to witness snowfall and enjoy winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding in nearby areas like Dhanaulti.
