Pet photography is my favorite as well. We have two partners and one of us started with headshots and portraits, where I started with Pet Photography, animal wildlife photography and eventually turned that into a business and joined this company with a partner, so now we do a lot more than just pets, but pets is still my outmost favorite and so appreciate others who shoot pets. It is very much fun and very rewarding.
What a fantastic presentation by Anabel! Her work is very well known in the SoCal dog sports groups! I have admired her for years. Thank you for sharing this!
Wow! I have my first pet shoot this weekend and this video is a life saver for me as I learned a lot of what to do. Hopefully I'll come home with some great photos and my knees won't be too sore. Thanks!
8:53 The ultrawide lens has that curved front element to reduce distortion, no to create it. If Rover is over a metre long, running directly at the camera, at the point where its nose is a metre from the camera, its bum is somewhere over two metres away. If course it looks weird. I have produced exactly the effect with a 14-42 MFT kit lens, nobody would say it's particularly wide.
