Not only that, but y'know as an entity of empathy (compassion/envy) he feels the pain others are feeling (that's why he fights as an assassin, fast kills, shorter pain) and when you kill something with no reason it's like hitting him out of nothing, so it's double sad

Remember Jowan ? "The sun grows dark but lo! Here comes the dawn!" this seems like a clear reference to DA:I song "the dawn will come". Also, Eleni Zinovia (the talking statue in the circle of magi) also appear to be foreshadowing something big. If you start as a mage, she tells you that she shall remain a statue, until the maker comes back and "light their fires again".
Orion_Qc Constellation Now that you mention it, the same statue appears in "Witch hunt" Dlc. ua-cam.com/video/QVrVmTnUtCY/v-deo.html It's thought to be the first in universe reference to Corypheus.

If you take Cole alone and then kill them, he greatly disapproves instead of just slightly (when he's in a group) and he says "why did you hurt them?"

I think Bull's disapproval also has slightly to do with the fact that by this point you've probably killed the first High Dragon and then you're attacking things that he could step on.

He's from Tevinter it's most likely his first time seeing those. They could have added something like "What in andraste's name is that?!" tho
He actually does, just not at this part. If he and Varric talk long enough, eventually they talk about a bet Varric made with Dorian on how creepy nug's feet are. Dorian loses 5 Royals and says they are "the stuff of nightmares".
My favorite nug scene is when Iron Bull asks about shooting the stuffed and winged nugs, made by Krem, from trebuchets.

@@JnEricsonx it's hinted that ancient dwarves were entirely different and more interesting than post first Blight dwarves in all 3 games. Most notable outside of that hidden dialogue were implications from the expedition in DA2. Just like how ancient elves almost seem to be a different species compared to present elves, regardless of their heritage. DA4 will probably expand on the Fade and the ancient races more.

i'm prettysure they are too scared of her to say anything, from game ambiante dialogue you gather that people are afraid to speak with leliana and to even gaze in the direction of morrigan, there was a mage in a tavern that comment that she once saw morrigan in the garden and that her look pierced her soul, that she would rather face the view of templars then look her in the eye again, lol.
This is how you know how awesome the Warden is cause he/she traveled with these two. xD

The Emerald Graves nugs are much cuter than the standard pink nug. They have spots on their bums!
Before I made my Inquisitor an angst lord, I could see Cole, Leliana, and them just sitting there petting the nugs.
However the current incarnation of my Inquisitor does love the terrrors that are Nuggalopes. My Inquisitor is like Dorian and finds their hands immensely disturbing so we've just blocked that fact from our minds.
I love Nugs, I almost wish they exist because they're so cute.

If you keep revisiting the same nug nest a few times all of your companions will slightly disapprove and groan about it. I got it by accident because I thought I was missing something for the questline lol.
Nugs are adorable. I kinda want to have one as a pet now. Once, I accidently killed a nug while i was fighting something and I felt bad about killing it.

There's a somewhat proven theory that if you kill a nug with Bull in the party, there's disapproval, but never disapproval with Cole in the party. The idea is that Cole is projecting Bull's thoughts.

In the high tower, where Leliana hangs around, there is a letter about her pet Nug. He's called Schmooples :)
The letter's talking about Schmooples II. I doubt nugs livery long, and the original Schmooples was given to Leliana by the Warden in Orgins, 10 years before inquisition takes place.

And now that I'm here, after watching this, (don't ask me how XD) I remembered about a woman, a priest, she just was there, no place in particular (can't remember where exactly), in the Hissing Wastes, she didn't had a name, just the bubble to talk with her, I remember talking with her, asking her what she was doing and something else she said some prayer one of my companions (Varric or Bull? Not sure who) said something, then I left, I found it all a little weird but didn't think anymore of it, until later exploring the map a moment later in another place, some distance away I found that SAME woman again and I was like???? How the!? Is the same woman? A bug? I could talk with her again and I remember that Bull was in my party and though the same think I did XD, "How did you get here so fast woman!?" And well she said some prayer and Bull said something to her and then I left again.
I don't know if you know the woman I'm talking about, I wanted to ask, did you find her, talked with her?, can you find her more times? (because I only found her those two times, and I tried coming later with other party members to see if there are more conversations or interactions with her etc) have more interactions?, or the locations where she appears? because I went (today, I don't know why I remembered it watching the nugs video XD) in my 2nd playthrough and I have not seen her... yet :( Any idea? Anyone knows anything of what I'm talking about?
Wow that certainly sounds intriguing. I never encountered this woman, maybe it's like with Quizquisition guy? He appears in different places every time and asks you questions? And when you answer 3 questions correctly you get.. a prize :)
So you haven't meet that woman :( ... at least with this I supose that she appears in that map in different locations at random, and not that I have a bug or something :)

FluffyNinjaLlama You just randomly encounter her around the Wastes, she recites the Chant of Light every time (about 3 times total, I think). Finally, you can meet her at the top of a mountain with the dwarven gate-statue, and she gives you a cool unique bow.

If you requit the werewolfs in DA: Origins you can feed their emissary at the camp with nugs, including Schmooples.

I heard a random chat that Dorian and Varric made a bet about the nugs' feet. Dorian lost the bet and now has an interesting memory of it.
I could see Sera and I getting a nug, she would dress it up like a bee. We could name it Breeches.
I thought it was awesome when you got to have Gaint Nugs a mounts to ride around on. It was hilarious when I controlled either Bull or varric to ride on them XXD
I think it might have been a glitch or something, but when I was playing the game after the game had just come out, I accidentally killed a nug by running past/close by/possibly trampling one. I definately hadn't meant to do that and then I got the disapproving comments from the party.

It must be hard for the nugs, here they are, these somewhat cute little creatures, just running around minding their own business, and the next thing they know, squeak!-plop onto the ground, and all just because nug skin coats are all the rage in Val Royeaux.
(Makes you feel a little guilty for killing them doesn't it. Even if it is an accident.)

I was in this area, and accidentally killed a nug when my mage used fade step. I use it if my companions get in my way but since I upgraded Fade Step, it froze the lil' guy solid.

i didn't even know it was there until i watched a video after my first playthrough (across the hall from the room with the fade rift for those who don't know). Of course thats why it takes me forever to get through the game now because i search everything i can now. :P And its my like.. billionth playthrough and i still find new things while exploring. :D

when i got there, i was lost and going in circles and checking for loots. I was also using Cole that time, i accidentally killed one and he's like "I'm not doing that!" and then Bull's like "Really we're going after these now?" after that I saw a bunch of Disapproves, lol
I think it was Mary Kirby a while back that did a Q&A as Loghain and he mentioned nug pancakes. I guess its not just dwarves that eat them.

All little critters need their share of love and affection. Nugs are no different. Small, harmless, cute. It’s no Mabari hound but I’m sure one will find a happy nug curled up in a lap somewhere getting a belly rub

You know what? That's why I LOVE Vivienne. She doesn't have filters, she doesn't care about being hated and says what she want to say. Many women control their tongues and ambitions for fear of being considered bad people or bitches, but Vivienne just simply DOESN'T CARE.
If you're still playing this game, could you perhaps do a compilation of the companions' comments on the couple hiding in the tavern on the dam in Crestwood?
If you're still playing this game after capturing the keep go into the basement. That last line they say isn't just idle talk, and you may want to take Varric and Dorian along.

The one and only thing Sera and Vivienne can actually agree on, killing Nugs. Shcmooples, I LOVE that Nug, especially when I'm judged by the Nug King.
You know why nugs are wonderful ? That is because Arishok, Archont and the Divine if not Vivienne all agree on their cuteness. I wonder if this opinion could cause durable peace.
