Stop blaming and placing unnecessary burden on Amorim who’s just arrived a month ago when you have inept leadership and players who’ve been at this club for a considerable longer period of time.
Asking whether Amorim will change his style is daft. I remember Guardiola being asked the same question during his first season when he gave the famous "what is tackles?" line..
One of the major problems that is starting to emerge is that Amorim (LFC dodged a bullet) plays a style for which the squad is not fit. Members of that squad have huge contracts over long periods. Those same players know that if Amorim stays, they will go. There is a battle now to see if the players can get rid of Amorim before he gets rid of them.
Liverpool didn't dodge a bullet. They avoided it completely. When Amorim told them he only plays 343 and that Liverpool would have to do too many changes they dropped their interest in him.
LFC didn’t dodge anything. Amorim rejected all approaches for him because he wanted to stay at Sporting until 2025 summer. If anything Liverpool wanted him and Alonso before settling on Slot who was 3/4th choice. They might have had concerns with the 3-4-3 system but they have the young players coming through and some players to get into that system. They’d need to get rid of a few though that wouldn’t fit or need replacing anyway with the likes of Robertson, Van Dijk and Salah coming to the end of their time at the club.
The problems are much more simple than formations and systems. To begin with, the team dont play as a team. The forwards arent creating for Hojlund; they’re shooting instead, and it’s a particular problem when it comes to low probability shots. People like Dalot shooting from distance regularly. Garnacho and Amad both trying to score all the time when they should be passing sooner. Second, we give the ball away too easily and we dont work hard enough. These problems arent caused because of a particular formation; some of it is down to individual quality, but right now it’s mostly a confidence one. Amorim needs to dig his heels in, offload the players he doesnt want, and bring in what he can. The last thing he should do is sacrifice his principals and or style of play; the players have to adapt. The team needs to band together, take advantage of some old fashioned siege mentality and commit themselves to the manager. Hard work, keeping hold of the ball/not giving it away so cheaply, and following basic instructions are enough to get out of this mess theyre currently in.

Amorim isn't the problem.. how many managers are going to come in and struggle before you realise it's the players! Amorim needs time to implement his style, and Ineos are to blame for making it near impossible for him to do this by not appointing him in the summer so he can have a full pre-season.
So, you are complaining that these players need replacing yet want them to learn Amorims system only to get replaced? Surely he should just adapt to the team to until the summer?
Amorim's system is not the issue. All the Manchester united players are experienced international players and why they can't cope with the system. We need hungry talented players like Delap, Hutchinson, Chuna/Eze /Gibbs white , Nouri / Robinson , Brathwaith/ diomandae, verbruggen
injecting one or two players into the existing squad will not solve the performance problem. Before Amorim, the team was at least winning under interim manager. The new manager (whoever accepted the job) should have considered - he is accepting a job in the organization known to be in disarray for so many years - he is inheriting an existing squad unknown to him, not familiar to his playing style - he is accepting the job mid season - he is not getting all the players he wants - he is coming to a new league in a foreign country R. Amorim is talking about - how the team as an organization is in disarray - how little time he has for the training - how much the organization needs the shock What we have seen so far is - few winning matches - players in chaos - poor team performance - poor defensive record - poor offensive record - poor team morale - new starting eleven all the time
Whatever Reuben has done in his previous club as a coach has worked. The players at man utd must learn to understand in training what he expects out of them and fully implemented it at the best of their ability in there matches. You cannot be changing coaches when players arent passionate and committed on the field. It seems that some of them arent hungry enough like olexander usky.
When Klopp took over his squad was not what he wanted to, the media so far is really too kind of to MU. The manager is paid millions to lead, please don’t tell me the squad is not built for Amorin, it’s just totally rubbish. Set up the team to be at least competitive, losing is the easy way out.
Every word is true. The Glazers are totally responsible for this situation. Incompetent contract negotiations led to overpaid players no other team wants to buy. We can't change things because flashing cash might lead to points deductions and relegation. Ineos have only compounded the problems. Relegation is a real possibility. Now Amorim says he won't play a different system. It seems he can only play 343. That's not enough under these circumstances.
I don’t get it. If we are playing a system that isn’t working, shouldn’t the blame be on the owners for hiring someone who only plays one way that clearly isn’t working and lets face it, we were all skeptical regarding the players we have not being suitable for this managers tactics. I feel like it’s a problem we clearly brought onto ourselves
No. Need to blame the PREVIOUS board and owners for the years of neglect and wrongful directions (multiple) they were trying to take the club but not follow through. Look at Brighton. Same plan, same level of success, different managers….Brighton have a competent board and owners who see the plan, stick to plan and hire only those who will fit it. Ineos are trying to undo the years and years of wrongful doings of a board who couldn’t organise themself a piss up on New Year’s Eve!!!
since Ineos demanded Ruben to start right away (RA stated that he wanted to start in the summer 2025), they should back him starting this january transfer window. sell for profit and bring in the right players, only problem is its hard to do it this january.
To solve this issue of FFP all the Glazer’s have to do is pay off the debt they leveraged onto the club. This has been an albatross around the neck of the club for years and it has finally caught up to them. On the other hand why did sir Jim and co hire this manager knowing the system he plays, with the full understanding they don’t have the resources to back him? That’s just failure waiting to happen
The managers ARE NOT THE PROBLEM at Manchester United!!!!!! The owners have crippled the financial side so money is not there to buy a new team!!!!! We have had 3 managers AND them same players are still there!!!!!!!
Can someone explain why the manager is determined to get this bunch of players buying into an “idea” when so many of them have no future here? Get the most from them in whatever system works, get to the summer and change the squad to one that’s more suitable.
i thought Amorim was asked to make MU win matches but i guess the objective is to play a certain system ( a system that no other big club plays ) … whatever, the Championship is also quite interesting

The earlier you guys come to terms with the fact that the guy is naive and out of depth to deal with the premiership, the better. Amorim isn't the problem.. how many managers are going to come in and struggle before you realise it's the players!
Amorim needs time to implement his style, and Ineos are to blame for making it near impossible for him to do this by not appointing him in the summer so he can have a full pre-season.
its the delusional fans that think the managers are the problems.
So, you are complaining that these players need replacing yet want them to learn Amorims system only to get replaced? Surely he should just adapt to the team to until the summer?
Melissa says it better then the other pundits. shes simply the best. Id like to see her come to MOTD after Kelly leaves.
Problem is that this a huge money grab for the owners who are betting on the club getting relegated soon
The system i think this is why Liverpool passed in this manager
Yeaaaa sureeee
Please don’t make me laugh 😂
I think he said no to them, didn't want to come then wanted another season at sporting
It is not even six months since Amorim took charge. Cut him some slack.
well giving him slack for 6 months could be relegated
Amorim's system is not the issue. All the Manchester united players are experienced international players and why they can't cope with the system. We need hungry talented players like Delap, Hutchinson, Chuna/Eze /Gibbs white , Nouri / Robinson , Brathwaith/ diomandae, verbruggen
injecting one or two players into the existing squad will not solve the performance problem.
Before Amorim, the team was at least winning under interim manager.
The new manager (whoever accepted the job) should have considered
- he is accepting a job in the organization known to be in disarray for so many years
- he is inheriting an existing squad unknown to him, not familiar to his playing style
- he is accepting the job mid season
- he is not getting all the players he wants
- he is coming to a new league in a foreign country
R. Amorim is talking about
- how the team as an organization is in disarray
- how little time he has for the training
- how much the organization needs the shock
What we have seen so far is
- few winning matches
- players in chaos
- poor team performance
- poor defensive record
- poor offensive record
- poor team morale
- new starting eleven all the time
Wise words ❤❤
How can you play a system that relies on wing backs when you dont have any in the squad
First thing don't talk about building a new stadium
Melissa Reddy you talk sense with authority, well done !
Very knowledgeable woman...She knows football inside out...😅😅
When Klopp took over his squad was not what he wanted to, the media so far is really too kind of to MU. The manager is paid millions to lead, please don’t tell me the squad is not built for Amorin, it’s just totally rubbish. Set up the team to be at least competitive, losing is the easy way out.
What a beautiful young lady...❤
female version of kaveh sky playing catchup with news nothing new here
How many training sessions has the WOLVES manager had? EXCUSES EXCUSES EXCUSES
Ineos are trying to undo the years and years of wrongful doings of a board who couldn’t organise themself a piss up on New Year’s Eve!!!
since Ineos demanded Ruben to start right away (RA stated that he wanted to start in the summer 2025), they should back him starting this january transfer window. sell for profit and bring in the right players, only problem is its hard to do it this january.
yes it is not just the system the formation is diffcult , he will need two new fresh wing backs not many available add to that the attacking line
This is the best person sky sports could get to comment?!
The cancelling of debt won't affect FFP much
With all this perfect analysis we should hire her into the Manchester United coaching station ⚘️
Melissa is the only one that talks sense on sky sports.
The manager lost the Newcastle game, not the players.
The managers ARE NOT THE PROBLEM at Manchester United!!!!!!
The owners have crippled the financial side so money is not there to buy a new team!!!!! We have had 3 managers AND them same players are still there!!!!!!!
Melissa has a fairly good handle on the whole saga.
Can someone explain why the manager is determined to get this bunch of players buying into an “idea” when so many of them have no future here? Get the most from them in whatever system works, get to the summer and change the squad to one that’s more suitable.
i thought Amorim was asked to make MU win matches but i guess the objective is to play a certain system ( a system that no other big club plays ) … whatever, the Championship is also quite interesting
chelsea used this system under conte and tuchel. wdym?
The championship is probably about their level
@@raspekwahmen3622 both are better manager they were available in the summer UTD didn't want conte when ole get sacked because of his way and his system.
The manager having said what is required to be in the squad and left out Rashford as he didn’t measure up . Then after several games Rashford is back in the squad so clearly he must of measured up and improved his attitude and work ethic. So to not bring him on when he’s your best hope of getting something out the game is a joke . You also want him playing and scoring so you can get more money for him when you sell him . This manager is not going to last . He will be another one out the door 😮
Zirkzee wages: £120.000 week!
People in England would cry for a lot less 😅
How are ManUtd getting relegated. Thwy need to beat the five teams below them who are worse. Even 30 points may be enough to stay up given the state of the the teams in the relegation battle.
That doesn’t sell tho does it? Doesn’t fit the anti United agenda
It generates clicks and sells newspapers. Pretty simple really.
Half the problem is the media who amplify every minute issue and draw unnecessary attention. The media overhype players after a single good game, make mid-tier players think they’re superstar armaments, get into their head, and then bash them as soon as the hype wears off.
Cumprimentos
The earlier you guys come to terms with the fact that the guy is naive and out of depth to deal with the premiership, the better. An experienced humble manager would have stopped the silly squad rotation, settled on a winning team after the Man City win and build on that. This situation is his fault. How many of you folks can survive in an organisation where you’re not sure of who your team mates are on a given day. Don’t blame the players.
I thought the lady in the picture was about to accuse Amorim of something outside of football.
Spot on right.Makes me proud
New manager comes in with his new system and formation that makes it so hard right now…. And if new players come in that’s gonna be hard with the system of playing…
Brother you right ✅️ he have to change the formation
Where's TEMU when we need to sell the whole team
The players are nervous. Just look at Casemiro missing that great chance that would have changed the game.
Its all about patterns of play. Lets see how far that gets us
All the media talk about is Rashford and Maguire .
Melissa can't hide how happy inside her while report this 😂
It was hard work and talent that made them great in the past not the team logo
Keeper, defenders, strikers, midfielders are all poor. They aren’t playing with any conviction. Just play what they are used to until end of season when you can have more time. Do man marking and stop this gaping spaces between the players.
Players need to take responsibility
is Amorim making it a point in the most drastic way? Lol.
To play without Rashford is unbelievable. The team look weak even amad will get affected smh
Not one to dwell on the past, but Jose was the answer. So since we are here now, I believe Jose is the answer
We are talking to our WAG in chief, Melissa Reddy.
she said the players are second guessing themselves in THIS SYSTEM. NO LOVE, THE/OUR PLAYERS AT MAN UTD ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH
This will make a great Netflix series , “Man Utd till I die “ you’ve heard it here first , no stealing the patent now 😂😂😂
United 14th and still Sky's top story!
Imagine giving the very people who have destroyed the club £1.3billion to pocket, giving them the option to stay, and having no money to actually put into the club! 😳. Greed has destroyed that club and will totally destroy it within three to five years. Club won’t be in the premier league and probably won’t get back. Serves them right as they will wish they took the Arabs money.
Nobody can afford Rashfords wages and the transfer fee--perhaps at best a loan to a Spurs or Villa? Was at Old Trafford last night and it was without a doubt the most pathetic performance from a bunch of overpaid muppets.
That aside the buzz of a match day at Old Trafford is something special and the team at the Salford Grill are simply the best at what they do.
They got rid of Ten Hag, wasn't that the "problem" - fans have no right to complain since they got their wish
I am surprised to hear negative on this level, if there is problems He should update and know how to organize
as stubborn as Ten Haag, that's the character of a local level coach
