Suggestion for 2 more questions for the stereotype: "Are you always late to everything?" And "Do you suck at planning?" What's a flannel shirt anyway? Been a roadie for 30 years plus, don't own a peaked helmet and never will, haven't got any "baggy" clothing and never will, don't know a thing about MTB but have just bought one to go with my 4 road bikes, I use my road clipless power pedals on my MTB and gravel bike.
I'm sure I'm going to fit in just fine at the FoD 😃😃😃
Most important question. Do you own a fully rigid 26" mountain bike?
A typical mountainbiker has more stitches than broken bones.
That was fun ! And no to all the questions.
1. Yes
2. No
3. Yes
4. No
5. No
6. No
7. Kind of yes. I see the point of them for older people, but if you're under 60 you should pedal for real. :)
Ebike = self shuttle
See the problem I have with ebikes is that as soon as I ride one I won’t want to go back to my regular bike
those POC helmets in loud colors are just so sick..
Surprising not every mountain biker doesn't have a flannel.
I did say yes to all except , a collarbone, ( if a separated shoulder get a yes ) then yes to all...... Joel was the closest
MTB for me means freedom and close contact with the nature. Cheers from Greece...
I haven't broken my collarbone and my bike isn't worth more than my car, but everything else is a YES!
I am liking to see the subtle way that GMBN team is slowly starting to introduce and accept emtbs... I Sense that within a year or so there will be a fusion between GMBN and EMBN... Just saying.. 😇
Mountain bike is More adventurous....than road bike....😂😂😂
Well I'm a no to every question, must not be a stereotypical mountain biker🤷♂️😆
😂 do you have some questions for Martyn to add to the list?
@@gmbn How about, do you have any mountain biking related stickers on your vehicle?😁
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS that's a good one!
@@gmbn how about, do you look at a rock, a hill or some other terrain and daydream you riding it?
You forgot to ask if they’ve ever drank Red Bull!!!
Nice video format to interview great unfamous mtber’s. Being realistic if god of MTB knowledge asks you if you think you know all about mtb, you kinda freeze before to answer, as if it’s a yes, it may bring a kind of : you know nothing John Snow 🤣
@james - what do you use for wrist protection? Broke both of mine not long ago O-;
No I'm not, but I loved the segment.
*UPDATED* Are you a stereotypical mountain biker at Bike Park Wales?
1. Do you only wear Fox kit?
2. Do you drive a VW van?
3. Do you hate pedaling?
4. Do you only wear Fox kit?
5. Are you unable to fix a puncture?
6. Have you ever crashed on A470?
7. Do you put your E-Bike on the uplift?
of course i'm a yes off all that question
i start mountainbiking in 2010 :)
Personal experience ... A typical mountainbiker doesn't know shit about the technology of their bikes. Neither do they carry a minimal toolkit. 🤣
This was great! More please.
i love putting on my kit every chance i get
Martyn you are! You won! :D
I can say yes to all the questions, except I did not break my collar but, instead I badly broke my neck,(seperated my spine), was air lifted and miraculously recovered to ride again.....and still mtn. biking today...
Does that count?
Adam for sure was the most stereotypical
blake : "the hardtail hero"
I would have to lie on one if the wife found out that my bike costed more than my car, more than a broken collar bone for me
Haha i think the typical mountainbiker doesnt say yes to all the questions.
Other than the broken collarbone I check all the rest.
Yes I have a flannel shirt
Yes my bike is worth in a car since I don't own a car
Yes I do not like road bikes I like hybrids mountain bike road bike hybrids
No I have not dislocated my collarbone but I've come close quite a few times of breaking it and dislocating and everything else in between
And yes everything else
Nope
Love all bikes. Mountainbike Roadbike E-bike Gravel
I own a road bike... but I hate those who use mountain bikes on road for long rides. 😂😂
