In this video, I'll show you step-by-step how to knit a large sized tote bag using a circular knitting machine. To knit this tote, I’ll show you how to cast on to a 46 needle Add knitting machine, how to switch colors on a knitting machine, how to cast off a knitting machine, how to seam the edges of knitting machine tubes, how to seam knitting machine pieces together using the mattress stitch, how to fold and assemble the bag, and how to knit a handle for a bag.
I’m knitting my bag on an Add Express Kingsize Knitting machine, but in the video I will share how to adapt the pattern for a 48 needle Sentro knitting machine.

Wow, I'm actually working on doing two rows to make a larger one, I was thinking that after I made a couple of the smaller ones which I wanted to show you, Diana, it took some trial and errors to get it to work right. The gray purse I'm working on isnt' quite right but I still think it looks adorable. I have to find more of that color to finish the handle.
It's so fun making purses with the machines! Working on my next purse pattern now!

I just knitted mine out and ended up with it being 1” too long and 3/4”to narrow. It’s making the entire bag off. Any idea how to make it work without taking the tubes apart. Tks so much.

The link to do the seamed edges doesnt work so i wasnt able to get it done :(
Countless other videos show you how to close ends of tubes though... she can't possibly fit in some of the basics

You can slow it down with the gear toggle and slow the playback.
