I did test ride the adventure. I found it a bit heavy and the seating a little high for me. Very high quality. I settled on the ice sprint x tour fs with ergo lux seat and drum brakes. The sprint x tour came with the parking brake. Ill be adding a motor next year.
Hello Mike. Thanks for the information job you are doing completely for free for the viewers. For all this people completely new in the fast increasing triking community it's impressive that you and other enthusiasts are using time on such information. Don't be araid not everything is told like a World Champ, people like the help you are giving themfor free😊.
Thanks for stopping by. I enjoy doing it and if it helps someone with their decision, then I'm glad i helped. Always just my opinion and i'm not swayed by anyone elses'. I do respect others' views if they are different on a product, but nothing out there is all 100% perfect. I think i get that point across....Hey, this is a good topic for Riding and Rambling...stay tuned.
@@gomountaintriking8460 I'm good just getting older haha. You haven't posted for so long I thought you either got bored or illness. Hope you feel better or get unbored soon.😁😀
i dont have a computer on the Trike. I had one on my old Trike, but none since. There are far better apps for your phone that keep track of everything for you. I use both Strava and 'Ride w GPS'
Are these safer than traditional 2 wheel bicycles? I assume they are, but how much safer? After 2 serious accidents (bike flipped in wet pavement recently) I’m considering a trike. I’m too old to break another bone.
This is precisely why all of us are riding them. I broke an arm mountain biking. Rich had several catastrophic 2 wheel crashes. It is so much better than a 2 wheel bike. Watch the 'Rider Spotlight with Tom, and coming soon, Rich. You will hear some of their stories.
@@TrikeWithMikeTX Thanks for responding. I’m 12 days into recovering from a broken collar bone. I’ve been spending this time researching alternatives. I will take your advice and watch the video. Greatly appreciated!
Have a disc break parking brake on my ICE Sprint X 26 Tour, works fine. Had flags slowly get pulled out of the seat, one falling on the road. Better of bolting them to the seat with the accessory. Stopped watching after the flags as different experience.
I tried both models. I think AZUB Ti-fly is better! While riding the Adventure FS model, the rear wheel lifted and both knees hit the asphalt road. I thought my knee was broken;
The ice Adventure HD and my Azub have a little wider seats and i find it more awkward to try and connect/disconnect while not on the ground. with the azub i've accidentally hit that slider disconnect as well.
I agree with the differences. But everything else about them looks like the same company makes these for them. But the seat area (butt area) is much larger on the ICE and then the Ti-Fly has a raised area to keep you from sliding forward. Maybe more detailed video on the seat differences would help viewers with that. Thanks for the reply.
I can't speak for ICE, but AZUB seats are a cool design that locks you in (comfortably), and helps me when "leaning" into a turn, as well as keeps me from sliding forward. Great content
@@jgbarre I think the reason they dont do that is the way they route the cabling through the bars. But with the steps 801 it is better than anything i've seen on the phone.
These are both outstanding trikes made by excellent manufacturers with terrific customer service.
I could not agree more

Thanks for the guided tour of your trikes Mike. We gotta find out what’s up with the parking brake on the ice. It’s a great feature to have.
We already ditched it for the pins in the grips like every other trike brand has

Hi Mike. Expecting my Ti-Fly26 this November. Like the printed solutions you've made. Willing to make them again? HM3 VN 69-70.
What specifically are you talking about. I’ve made so much stuff for this trike.
Nice job on the video Mike. Thank you.
Awesome video thanks. I live in FL, how does the seat on the HD as far as sweat is concerned?
@@IATG-tl3jf it’s the same as mine on my Azub. This video here talks about it. ua-cam.com/video/36W5tG0QWJo/v-deo.htmlsi=TdH5SdiJttaQrId1
Thanks for the interesting comparison.😀
Bro hi! long time no see

Thank you for your video. I have similar setup on my Ice trike. Can you explain how you mounted bike computer on the Ice please? Thank you.

Did you test how much weight they can hold?

We had the disc brake too. Ours must have been faulty or something. the dealer replaced it with the regular button handles and we've been happy since.
The cost of the two?
I agree the diplay is really useless....Azub need to move it up to the handlebars
Where are you in TX? I was at John’s today!
I'm in Prosper....straight up the tollway
Nice! I’m in the mid cites near DFw …

I thought my knee was broken;
i havent mentioned yet, but the suspension on the Ti-fly is 'connected' and the suspension on the ICE just floats and is not connected
Surprised to see you lying on the ground to get the seats on & off. I’ve an ICE adventure & never laid on ground for any aspect of service/maintenance

The seats are nothing alike. Sorry, but they are extremely different except that they both used black material, reflective material and mesh.
I agree with the differences. But everything else about them looks like the same company makes these for them.

I like the ICE seat more. The “seat” area on the ICE is larger which I like. The AZUB makes me feel like I’m sliding off.
Azub display is too far away and hard to see. Should be moved to the handlebars.
