Florence was from Indiana, not a Southern state, but it is right next door to Kentucky. Robert Reed was a Shakespearean trained actor who appeared in mostly dramatic roles. In the television series "Roots" and a made for television movie "Nightmare in Badham County", he played very hateful characters. And he was convincing!

I kind of remembered my great grandmother from my mother’s side of the family. I was 9 years old when she passed away in her early 90’s. She was almost 91 years old. I did had a good time with her during her last Christmas time. I even did took a very good picture of her at my grandparents home sitting on a couch. I even remembered her spending time in our home a couple of times.
How did they edit it back then? They are both standing in the same scene unless they had another actress for that part? 1:14 but it does explain why Mike said they can't have dinner with her tonight

It's cool how they did split screen to show the kid's mother and grandmother in the same frame or scene. That's because they were played by the same actress, Florence Henderson.
Look how they did special effects effective Mike and Carol haven’t moved from that spot and then they’re going away to meet Mike’s boss so they can do less split screen work and save on the cost by getting Mike and Carol to go out that’s what I figured out
It was the Fonz you're right, but because of that Happy Days episode, "jumping the shark" became a saying used for any event in a series that was over the top and put in just to garner more viewers/higher ratings.
@@kenlompart9905 I didn't like Cousin Oliver at all. I didn't like that actor with his Uncle Fester hair. And he always played a brat with a big mouth. He had a role on the Mary Tyler Moore show playing Ted and Georgette's adopted son and he was so annoying!
So, how old are the great grandparents supposed to be? Also, if the kids were successful at hooking them up, what weird relation titles would everyone have with each other?
According to IMDb this is actually the 3rd worst episode, next comes Welcome Aboard introducing Oliver, then last place is Kelly's kids, irony the most worst episodes were in season 4 and 5.
